I had a travel history pretty similar to yours with lots of business trips abroad. My approval came in 2 days after physical biometric. So, don't think your travel would really complicate anything if following 180 day rule

Hi everyone - needed some advice on dual biometric appointment for my case below:

1. Set (O) - Tier 2 G to ILR
2. Date of payment and document submission: 18 Sept 2020
3. Date of IDV app biometric submission: 23 Sept 2020

My case is simple with only complictaion being that I travelled extensively during the 5 year period with 450 days of total travel but with NO absence of more than 180 days in any continuous 12 month period. Letter from employer on leave of absence has been submitted with all details

Please advice on below:

1. Should I apply for a dual biometric appointment - free appointments are available in November 2nd week
2. Since my IDV app biometrics submission happened on the same day that they withdrew the app and went back to physical appointments, can I write to UKVI to ask if they have received my biometrics? Can someone please provide me any email I can send my query to?
3. Will my travel history cause delays?

I've received no delay letter or communication from UKVI and since I have to travel in Dec 2020 for personal reasons am getting worried. Any help would be appreciated

Update from UKVCAS on 16 Oct:
https://www.ukvcas.co.uk/flash-message- ... geId=74833

"Double submission" has caught UKVI's attention. Hope all IDV users can get decisions asap then this won't be a concern any more.

Hi All,
I have applied for SET(M) 11 Sep, i have given Bio on 22 Sep. Since then I have no update. While looking at the timeline forum i noticed SET(O) getting very quick decision compared the SET(M). Is that correct observation?

I have no rush for Visa just checking incase others have noticed the same thing.

Thanks

SET (M) is very slow, 22nd Sept is very recent, I am at 4 months and still haven't heard, hopefully you can hear back sooner than me. SET (O) has been quicker than SET (M) yes.

Hi
I have been a silent reader here. I applied for FLRM on 2nd April. Submitted documents through IDV app on 28th of August and then started waiting for the decision. In the second week of october I found that for a majority double submission has reslly worked so on 13th of November I booked my biometric appointment for 15th of November. I was happy to pay 136£ and was happy to travel from London to Sunderland. All I needed was a quick decision.
But can you belive I received my FLRM decision via email on 14th of November at 2:30 PM. Thank God I didn't start my journey to Sunderland. We had to leave after 3 hours but I received my decision. Then I cancelled my sunderland appointment and amount was not refunable. But still happy that I received my decision. On the same day 14th November, at night when i checked this forum I found that UKVI has caught the issue of double submission.

I haven't received any further email for tracking of biometric card.
Is there anyone here who received his/her biometric card without tracking email from UKIV? I have to travel so want it ASAP. 2 working days has been passed. Still waiting anxiously. What's an average wait for receiving biometric card??
Any help.

You meant October I guess in your post, congrats on your decision, yes UKVI have started looking at double submissions, would've helped if there was clarity in the beginning, they can deny as much as they want on UKVCAS flash message but the truth is, IDV app data wasn't being transferred to UKVI and double submissions were working because the data was going straight to UKVI.

You cant.
Hi Cullinan, a bit more help needed, please. UKVCAS update says Coventry SP will reopen tomorrow. I am booked for Sunderland for Saturday. Would you know if one is able to rebook immediately after cancelling their existing booking? Its a bit strange that one is locked out of the booking system and the only way to check appointments is to cancel your already secure booking :|

Yes don't worry, should hopefully be on its way to you soon. We were FLR M too, decision received 17 sept and BRP posted through the letterbox without any tracking email or signature on 22nd Sep. So I hope yours will be with you by early to mid this coming week. Good luck!

Hi All,

I think the decision for SET (0) takes longer. I have submitted my application on 12 June and my Bio on 9 September via IDV app. I haven't heard yet anything from the HO. I am wondering, is there a way to contact them and ask for any update?
Thanks

You need to understand what happens when you submit data through IDV App - read this post to get information - indefinite-leave-to-remain/suspension-o ... l#p1946850

The queue for moving biometrics from old application to current application is 3-8 weeks long, this was never communicated to the applicants who were deemed eligible for biometric reuse.

If someone has already waited 8 weeks since IDV App selfie submission - then in-person appointment will do NO benefit - as written by UKVCAS message.

However, if you have waited less than 8 weeks since IDV App selfie submission - then in-person appointment is the way forward. Try your luck, maybe the appointment won't be cancelled and you will be able to submit biometrics which goes directly to current case file.

Yup I did read it when it first was published, too bad info like that wasn’t communicated properly by UKVCAS/UKVI before the app was released. I did IDV 28th Aug and in person on 15th Sept.

Hi,

I received my BRP without tracking email. I was off to work and saw an envelope on the welcome mat inside. So not all the applicants get tracking emails.

I got my BRP after 5 w/days.

any SET(M)s over 120 days still waiting? I feel like with the current COVID situation, the 6 month time line might not be fulfilled :?

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a bio appointment [currently booked for Sunderland]. UKVCAS update says the following Service Points will be open today but I still see no slots. They just asked me to keep checking frequently on Twitter. Let me know if you are able to see/book for these two centres, please.

Coventry w/c 19 October
Llandudno w/c 19 October
T2G 2015, T2 Switch 2018, ILR 2020, BC 2021, British Passport 2022, OCI 2022

Hi Everyone,

I have a Tier 1 Exceptional talent visa and previously had a Tier 2 General. In total I've been in the UK for over a 5 years already. I've applied for ILR and have an appointment in Croydon on 2nd of November. I've uploaded all documents online, but a lot of these documents I have only in PDFs, like bank statements, payslips, etc. Should I still print them and bring on my appointment or it is enough that I've uploaded them? Thanks for clarification.

Hi Guys,

I am still waiting on my decision.
Applied on 14th April
IDV submission on 28th August.

Contacted HO last week and they said I will receive an update in 10 working days.

Contacted my local mp through their email today.

Waiting for a response.

Any suggestions or ideas to escalate further?

This is nothing new. It's the same line UKVCAS have been parroting for a while now.

May be worth taking it just in case. Just for clarification, where you in the tier 2 for 5 years or tier 1 is included in your 5 years?
