Suggestion:

@12AM midnight GMT NEW RELEASE of appointments.

November example:
3rd Nov (Tues) - book an appointment for 30th Nov (Mon)
4th Nov (Wed) - book an appointment for 1s Dec (Tuesday)
5th Nov (Thurs) - book an appointment for 2nd Dec (Wednesday)
.
.
.7th Nov (Saturday) - book an appointment for 7th Dec (Friday)

Note: If you want to look for free appointments during November do not look on Sundays and Mondays as the the system will release appointments for Saturday (paid) and Sunday (paid) 4 weeks apart.

Free appointments are only available on week days (IF ANY). Best to look Tues - Sat during November as the system opens up a new date every night 12 AM GMT as shown in the example above.

PS: Look for different locations using different city postcodes if you are/can open to travel.

It looks like UKVI has completely slowed down processing of ILR applications. I am 4th Aug LR applicant and was expecting decision today. But looking at timelines section, it looks unlikely. I feel now UKVI team will further delay applications considering lockdown announcement. And then in 6 weeks we will hit Christmas period. Looking at the current situation I suspect many applications will get pushed to next year 2021.

@gyanp, hold tight. One of my friend's contacts who applied Set LR on 6th August received decision yesterday.
You should hear back soon hopefully.

Received my ILR today, it is valid until 31/12/2024. My question Whether ILR BRP always valid for 4 years only and need to renew it every 4 years ?

Home Office has advised that the EU requires Biometric Residence Permits (BRPs) to incorporate next generation encryption technology. Since the BRPs that the Home Office is currently able to issue do not incorporate the next generation of encryption technology, the EU says they must have a validity date of no later than 31 December 2024.

It is like renewing a driving license in case you do not plan to apply for BC till then.

By the way, the covering letter that comes with the BRP card does not indicate that the old BRP is to be cut into pieces and sent to the 'BRP Returns' address. However, I followed the members' advice and sent my old BRP card back.

I emailed our dear SET (M) friend yesterday to see if they are still alive and I got that reply from the Team Leader. So there's hope that we haven't been forgotten.

"Good morning

I can confirm that your biometric enrolment is complete.

Please be aware that the published service standard for Indefinite Leave to Remain applications is six months, hopefully, we will be able to complete your application before this date but we are unable to give guarantees at this stage."

Yours sincerely

According to what I have seen on other public spaces, there still is activity. Just seems like nothing for people who are part of this forum.
