My immigration advisor would get the email instead of me, so I thought I would avoid having to wait for her to forward the email by checking the right to work page. I'll keep waiting...

Glad to see things moving again and members getting approvals this week!

For those who got approvals, were your statuses on the online tool to check right to work updated right after the approval emails were sent out?
I got my ATLAS successful email at 10am today and I was checking my right to work page from 9:00am to ~9:50. I checked the status right after I got the ATLAS email and it was updated. So the right to work update method might not be useful for all. In my case it changed almost as soon as I got the email.
Congratulations on your result!!! And thanks for the insight. It does sound like the right to work page is updated right after a decision is made then.

My immigration advisor would get the email instead of me, so I thought I would avoid having to wait for her to forward the email by checking the right to work page. I'll keep waiting...
Thanks buddy. Checking the right to work website would definitely work.
What's your ILR route, and when did you apply? It seems like SET(O) applicants are getting a lot faster response. I submitted my application on Oct 1 and my biometrics on Oct 22.
I am Set O T2G, submitted on Oct 4, biometrics on Oct 21, so I'm really hoping my timeline would follow yours!!

By the grace of Allah, My SET(LR) applicant has been successful. The lovely email came in this morning at 8:26 am. My wife also received her successful SET(LR) decision yesterday 3:26 pm. There is something unique about two emails coming at 26 mins past the hour :D

Sincere gratitude to all members here especially Cullian, CR001, Ajitu92, et al.

I wish all of those waiting a decision soon.

I will see some of you in 12 months time in the BC forum for myself. Time for recovery now then in few days I'll start BC application for my little one :D
Congrats to you and your wife hobba2008. A big sigh of relief for you both
Thank you poper. Indeed, it is a big sigh.

I checked the prove to work site straightaway and it shows there is no restriction on my stay in the UK.
I presume this is an automated system, both the notification email and the status on the website. Once the CW presses the decision button, a process is triggered to update all relevant fields.

Hi All
finally the wait is over.. thanks to all moderators and members for helping through this process. i don't know how i would have managed this without this forum.

Applied for ILR Route: Set O - Tier 2 General for 2 people (1 main applicant + 1 dependant)
Date application sent: 02/10/2020
Type of application: Standard application (Priority Suspended)
Docs uploaded to UKVCAS: 02/10/2020
Email Received to use IDV: N/A
Date Biometrics Submitted: 21/10/2020 (Paid appointment in Sheffield)
Decision Letter received: 04/11/2020 (10:43 AM)
BRP Card Received: WAITING (email said will arrive on or before 10 working days)

i see another person with similar timelines also got the approval today. so looks like SET (o) cases are moving after a bit of lag.

I submitted my ILR application on 18 August and IDV biometrics on 7 September. Looking likely I have to give up a job offer as still hasn't been approved :(

Hello @Cullian
I think you remember my case. My ILR application was submitted on 4th Aug 2020, but due to Solicitor's error, it was submitted to UKVCAS on 9th Sep 2020. My question is, will UKVI consider my application date as 4th Aug or 9th Sep. My solicitor says its 4th Aug because this is the date when payment was made to UKVI.

Please advise.

UKVI have told us that they aim to deal with ALL applications in date order. This means that your case will be dealt with by UKVI based on the date of your registration with UKVI/UKVCAS.

Is it not the date of payment to UKVI?

Finally some movement in Set O physical bio cases. I guess HO workers are back from half-term breaks. Hope they act faster after the good small break they got :)

Since it was the date of registration with UKVCAS that mattered most for biometrics, as per the official update it says “UKVI/UKVCAS”, I think its the date registered with UKVI & UKVCAS but whichever is later. Mostly date of UKVI/UKVCAS is the same but some applicants do not register the UKVCAS account on the same date after submission with UKVI.

Once you apply with UKVI and press book an appointment, your application is linked to UKVCAS via an access code.
So even if you used the same email address for a previous application, i think does not matter.

This is just my opinion - as per the date used for biometrics invitations - which was the date of registration with UKVCAS not UKVI. So I am assuming the same principal applies but do not take my word as final.

What a surprise. Just got call from my solicitor that my application is successful today.
My timelines are:
LR ILR application submitted on 4th Aug 2020 (UK VI registration)

UKVCAS Registration - 9th Sep
IDV App - Opted out
In person biometric - 25th Sep
ILR Decision approval email - 4th Nov 2020 (12:00)

Thanks a lot @Cullian, @ajit92 and all other members. Immigrationboard has helped me a lot in my journey.
I sincerely appreciate your support and wish everyone who is waiting for their decisions. I just checked my right to status page and I see below message. Till yesterday it was showing my visa expiry as Oct - 2022.
