What a surprise. Just got call from my solicitor that my application is successful today.
My timelines are:
LR ILR application submitted on 4th Aug 2020 (UK VI registration)

UKVCAS Registration - 9th Sep
IDV App - Opted out
In person biometric - 25th Sep
ILR Decision approval email - 4th Nov 2020 (12:00)

Thanks a lot @Cullian, @ajit92 and all other members. Immigrationboard has helped me a lot in my journey.
I sincerely appreciate your support and wish everyone who is waiting for their decisions. I just checked my right to status page and I see below message. Till yesterday it was showing my visa expiry as Oct - 2022.

You're most welcome, and congratulations @gyanp! 🎉🎊 Makes it sound like you willed your approval into being/coming with your questions! I'm going to shamelessly take some credit for predicting that you'd hear back between 1st and 15th November :D

I am regretting the decision of using the IDV app. My company has decreased the pay to 5% but is still more than what it requires for the experienced worker. I have no idea what impact that would be on my application now.

Has anyone applied for Set O by evidencing a degree that was successfully accepted (in a previous leave application) as proof of the english language proficiency. My solicitors were adamant that NARIC letter is not required and this was all within rules (which is probably true) but I take this just adds unnecessary complexity for a CW who might think, now this requires extra checks as I need to see previous applications. I hope I am just jittery.

Congrats @gyanp. Seems like it is the UKVI not UKVCAS registration date then.
True, at least for Set (LR). I think more specifically (speculation) it might be date of UKVI registration for the specific application (and not just account creation) plus date of payment for the same application (more speculation). Hence, why we see some variation even in the date order. Because, for example, you may create a UKVI account for submitting a SAR request a couple of months before starting your intended application. And, also the fact that you may start filling an application a good few weeks before actually submitting and paying. All of these factors, by guess work at least, I would think affect how quickly you receive your approval. Which is why for Set LR in particular we're seeing applications being processed in date order but a range for time to approval (for non-complex cases).

A friend did back in Feb. Got a decision in 1 hour under Super priority. I am sure you will be fine. They have access to all your previous applications and history.

Thanks. I really hope so too. Super priority were golden days unlikely to return now. Seeing activity in the timeline does get you excited and nervous at the same time.

I don't know why I am nervous but if I don't get the decision by next week then I will definitely get mad.

Got my approval today! SET(o) T2G, standard app on 21/8, dual submission

Thanks to everyone on this forum. I haven't posted much, but I've benefited from the wealth of knowledge (and good advice) from this group. See you in the BC forum next year!

To everyone still waiting, good luck, and keep calm and carry on!
Congrats!!!! :) That was fairly quick counting exactly one month from your IDV submission and exactly one week from your in person bio. Please do update us on the picture on the new BRP when you receive this. Many thanks.
Happy to, once I actually get the BRP :D I recently moved as well, so expecting some drama with the courier company. Fun never ends with the HO!

Also, since it's been asked for previously, my approval came from home.office.atlas@notifications.service.gov.uk
Received my BRP card today. TNT made me wait almost a month while confirming the new address with the HO, then just dropped it in my mailbox! I did dual submission, and the picture is from my in-person appointment.

Glad to see your decision, it should be a successful result otherwise it won't say BRP is on the way.

@excel_geek thanks for the update. Sorry to hear that you had to wait almost one month to receive your BRP, everything is just an absolute joke.

Hi can I ask, did TNT give your any number to track the mail? Should it have been a signature delivery?

Shall I receive any notification from UKVI or the delivery company about the time for the delivery of my BRP card? Anyone knows? I am not living in the address that I listed in my application now, so have to know the exact delivery date to travel there to collect it. Thanks for the suggestion!

I stand to be corrected (Cullinan and CR001 are more knowledgeable than I am), but my understanding is that your spouse can extend their Tier 2 dependent visa even though you have ILR. If they change to a spousal visa, the clock will reset and they will start the 5 year timeline again.

UKVI will send you a tracking number. Once you have that, the TNT Tracking portal will tell you exactly what date it will be delivered. But if UKVI didnt send you the tracking number, you can not get it from TNT Customer Service as couriers from UKVI is handled by a special team and CS team do not have access to.

That's why I feel strange, as on their website, they claim a signature is required for all deliveries for UKVI.

Hi

No sure if this is the right forum - first time ever writing so I apologise if it's wrong.

We have an appointment tomorrow morning at 10am.
SET M
We applied back in August and didn't hear anything from using the app so decided to book the appointment as well.

I have a question please, do we need to bring ALL DOCUMENTS we submitted on the app with us to the appointment tomorrow?
I called and asked and he stated only mandatory documents, meaning the passport and declaration.
I ask, because the idiot I am, didn't keep all the paperwork after we submitted online. I am however worried now that they will only view the mandatory documents and we will of course be refused.
I have the option of printing them off from my computer but then obviously, they are not original copies

Any advice welcome

Thank you in advance.

Please ask your visa specific questions in your own thread. This is not the right place to discuss it.
Just to answer: Your partner will carry on as a PBS dep visa if you got ILR via Tier 2 route. Your partner will need a PBS extension to complete 5 years minus 28 days (counting from initial visa issue date) before applying for own ILR.

Note to readers: Different scenarios, please do not apply this to yourself.
Note to @Hamed61: Please continue with future follow up questions in your own existing/new thread.
