Looks like they have started looking at October applications this week. Somebody just updated the timeline with their approval. Hope its a trend.
Yes. Hopefully we receive decision email soon.
@raghuy replying to you here to not muddle the timeline thread.

Yes I checked the right to work website and see it was updated, and in the meantime my solicitor received some blank email from HO, so we chased for confirmation. Full details of the situation here: general-uk-immigration-forum/right-to-w ... 09161.html
Wow. October applicant and received the decision 3 days earlier. Congrats. Hope its a trend for rest of Oct applicants.

Hello @aclondon2

Did you escalate your case via MP or did you get the decision by itself?
The reason i am asking is that there was no decision on the SeT 0 application since last few week and may be escalation might have worked in your case

Thanks

Wow. Congrats to your friend too!!!
You guys have lifted our spirits again. :)
I hope so. I haven't been insane in checking RoW every hour yet :)
What is your application date? I see you entered the UK in June 2010. Have you applied late hoping for Super priority service to resume?

It seems like there has been a lot of new approvals for ILR LR August applicants and unfortunately I seem to be the last one standing (Application on 20th August, IDV 6th September and F2F appointment 5th October). I also sent an email a couple of weeks ago to escalate the case as I needed to sit an important professional exam in Paris on 30th November, and they replied the following day saying that the matter has been forwarded to the team responsible for my application, which gave me good hope but it actually looks like this even slowed down my case even more (case which is straightforward like the majority of us with current visa valid until December 2021). Congratulations for all those who are receiving decisions and fingers crossed we should receive ours soon...

Hi All,

I was told by my solicitor that it doesn’t really matter the day of your online application submission but rather the real timeline and countdown begins from the day you submit biometrics.

Have you guys found this to be true?

It’s been a month since my online submission but only a few weeks since my biometrics. Does this mean my countdown is only a few weeks?

Tbh its a giant black hole. Nobody knows although UKVI claims all applications are looked in date order by which they likely mean, the date of application. 22nd October applicant just updated the timeline with their approval so you are allowed some excitement.

When applications come in, I think they allocate them to case workers. So I guess how an application progresses really depends on the case worker. If UKVI have approached each case on the basis of the date submitted and there was only one queue for each category, there should not be cases that late submitters get earlier decisions, which is common, unless there is an issue with others' application, which I don't think to be the case.
To your question, my understanding was, a case worker can review your application, but cannot make a decision until they have validated the biometrics.
However, my application was submitted in early October by a solicitor and biometrics were submitted in early Nov and I am still waiting. Others mentioned that applications submitted in Oct had quick turn around. If this was the case, I should have heard from them by now. So based on my experience, I feel like they only start reviewing your application once they have all information, including biometrics - unless my case worker is too lazy.

Someone mentioned that they checked right to work page to see if there was an update. How did you do this?
Will your old BRP show cancelled/expired right after ILR is approved?

I am eligible to apply ILR since 3rd June, but I didn't since my visa expire next January and I want to use super priority service. After a half year waiting, it looks like the priority service won't resume and I realize I made a big mistake. I would get the ILR by now if I choose to apply in June.

Anyway, I submitted my Set(LR) application today and uploaded the documents. I realize there is no Biometrics appointment in near future. What should I do now? stay at midnight and refresh the UKVCAS website? Will late bio appointment(e.g. January one) delay my application process? or my application already proceeds by UKVI once my document submitted?
