Could someone please post September and October set LR application list? I'd be happy to start if someone could tell me what the format should be. I've applied on 25/10.

You should get a BRP dispatch email from UKVI/Home Office in 3-4 working days. That will contain your consignment number and a link to the TNT Final Mile Delivery tracking website.

You should wait until you get your ILR BRP before returning your current one. After you check over your ILR BRP to ensure that it is accurate and correctly printed, you can send the expired one back.

What do you mean by "list"? I'm working on the Set LR stats. A "list" for October wouldn't be much use since there have been only 4 October Set LR applications reported on the timeline thread in this forum...

Congratulations first... A long battle
Its indeed scary to know HO can just "forget" our £2.4K applications.
Did you contact your MP as 6 months lapsed or did you have any other compassionate reasons?
Thank you. I didn't have any official compassionate reasons, just old parents I worried about. I contacted my MP even before 6 months passed as I knew they would take time to take up my case. I told my MP about the troubles I had getting any updates and the long wait. I then got a call from the MP's office and the secretary confirmed details about my case and said they would contact HO.

Home Office confirmed they lost my biometrics and told me to wait until they made enquiries. It took them 3 more weeks to fix this problem.

Thank you proper, this is massively helpful. Would it be fair to assume that the forum applicants may in some way correlate to the actual pool of SET LR applicants in the UK, i.e. skewed towards the first half of September, and that we might see quicker approvals for the second half? :?:

I'm praying HO gets to Oct applicants sooner rather than later.

You need to thank ajitu92 actually :)
I think you read only part of what ajitu92 said. People frequently enter their timeline only on receiving a decision which is why there is a skew.
You should see new members in the later half of September posting in the forum on receiving a decision

Likewise. But your leave to remain will remain extant beyond 31 December 2024. The date restriction also does not change your entitlements to work, access services/benefits or travel. Only your card will expire on 31 December 2024. Information on how to replace a BRP that is due to expire as a result of the restriction will be updated approximately 6 months prior to 31 December 2024.

It appears that the reason is related to EU requirements. According to the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association, the Home Office has advised that the EU requires Biometric Residence Permits (BRPs) to incorporate next-generation encryption technology. Since the BRPs that the Home Office is currently able to issue do not incorporate the next generation of encryption technology, the EU says they must have a validity date of no later than 31 December 2024.

Wait for 10 working days and you can raise a complain online and also write to brpdelivery@homeoffice.gov.uk. I got a reply in less than 10mins on a Friday night.

If you don't mind answering, what was the reason for your delay? Also, eventually how long it took to receive your brp?

Thanks i have received an email from brp courier delivery with consignment number on 16th but everytime I enter that into tnt tracking link, it doesn't bring up anything but the details are not correct or no details found.

Consignment number is in the format of 100xxxxxx. How to track the delivery? I rang tnt but it was a really long wait.... any email address to chase that?

Hi ajitu92 does this list include SET(M)? is there any stats about the status of SET(M)s? Applied for my wife's SET(M) on 19/08/20 but still no news, just wanted to see how many more SET(M)s are waiting for a decision.

Hi Sean2606
My wife's timeline is similar to yours. Still haven't received anything, her BRP ran out yesterday, all I see on the forum is Set (O)'s constantly receiving their results.... not comforting at all :-(

I hope we hear something soon.

@limey10, I am glad that the other categories are and have been receiving their decisions quicker but at the same time annoyed with HO with the way they are dealing with SET(M) applications. My wife's BRP expired in Sep 2020. Got exactly a month for the 6 months timescale but i doubt we will hear anything before then.

Hi Sean2606

I agree, it's nice to see others getting their approvals but with no apparent reason why some categories are prioritised over others. Or are Set (M) applicants simply not posting their results? It's super frustrating - with no way of checking other than calling and receiving the "well it hasn't been 6 months yet" answer. I haven't called because I know that I will be upset to hear those words.

At the same time, I read recently of someone calling only to be told that their biometrics had been lost. Whether that is true or not only adds additional uncertainty to the whole "situation." I was going to say process, but it isn't really a process is it.

Hi Limey10, there was a Sep SET(M) who received their decision. I too read the post where HO said they had misplaced the applicant's biometrics, shameful!! that HO couldn't be bothered to contact the applicant and ask them to redo their biometrics.

Other kinds of applications are receiving quicker decisions due to them "contributing to the economy" ! but my wife works too and pays tax so does contribute in a way.
