Hello, please I have also cancelled my standard application and got an acknowledgement that it was successfully received. However when I tried to start a fresh one I was asked if I have any previous application that has not been decided but not sure what to select if yes or no. Will UK visa still. Contact me or email to say my application has been withdrawn cos the acknowledgement I got was at the end of the form when i used return of document form. Pls help
Select yes and provide details. Your previous application will automatically be withdrawn once you apply for a new application anyways. But it is good you withdrew it on your own via the UKVI cancel link. It will not harm providing details in the new application also. Dont worry and apply for a new application given you still did NOT provide biometrics for previous application and your current visa is valid.

Thanks alot. I rang them and spoke to the advisor who said it could take up to 14days for the refund and was told to select NO on the new application as I withdrew the standard application yesterday. I have now reapplied and submitted a new application as super priority. I also had to cancel the biometric appointment and booked a new one. so hopefully should get a refund .Thank you all for the support.

Hi,

I tried filling in a new SET(M) application today and provided the reference to my old standard application. However I am still able to see the Standard Service only. Can you please confirm which category of application did you see the super priority option in?

I submitted super priority for set m partner of a British citizen. The priority option is on the pay section where you will have 2 options. 1st is standard application and second option super priority and you select which one you want to pay for.

Hi everyone
Am not sure if this is the right page. I would appreciate any assistance or directed to the right forum
My application is flr m submitted on 15/06/20 and idv on 08/09/20. I have still not received decision. Complained twice to my mp who says he’d written to HO without response.
Now am facing separation with my wife (my sponsor) and not sure what to do. We have 2 year child who’s a British citizen.
Any opinion as to what to do with my pending application vis-à-vis the current situation with my wife??
Thanks everyone in advance

That's strange! I am trying to submit in the same category SET (M) - Partner of a British citizen but I am still only able to see the Standard Option for 2408.20 GBP. Has it got anything to do with my email address or name/DOB. Since the previous pending application which was submitted in March had the same details. However I have now tried with another email address but it's still showing only the Standard Option.

I am wondering if it's because my biometric appointment is scheduled for Tuesday 6th April.

Good that I did not cancel my biometric appointment. However I have submitted the form to withdraw my previous application today morning already since I was convinced from the other posts that the super priority service is definitely going to be available for SET(M). I am in a bit of a soup now.

Any expert advise from Cullinan or CR001?

No one can be sure about the reason. The only assumption I can think of is that maybe UKVI has a certain quota, first come first serve- maybe they manage it like that for now.. you will have to keep checking regularly. Since you already have withdrawn your application, you should cancel your biometrics appointment also as its useless now. You must apply for a new application before your current visa expiry whatever option you get by then.

Thanks. I will go ahead and cancel my biometrics in that case. One question about the withdrawal form. It asked about Case Id, Home Office reference, Payment receipt no. It wouldn't accept the URN application no., so I could only provide the payment receipt no. I didnt have any other reference for my previous application. Is this what other's are submitting?

Same here. Only the payment reference as it won't accept the URN.

Finally I got the Super Priority option today morning. So I guess it could either be some specific times when the option is released maybe during day hours or it could be my browser cache.

Advise to to all based on my experience -
1. Please clear your browser cache before starting a new application.
2. It is a very good reccomendation to try a dummy application and go all the way through to payment screen and verify that you are getting the super priority option. Before doing this do not cancel your previous application and biometric appointment
3. Do not cancel your appointment if you are too close to your visa expiry, because if you face glitches with your new application submission then you may land up in a risky situation with your residency.

Just trying to understand current cost benefit of priority/super priority. If I book standard, I might have to pay for biometric depending on when/where I get appointment it could be upto £200. However, if I book priority/super priority appointment, does the additional £500/£800 gives quicker & free biometric appointment?
Because then the difference between standard & P/SP could be less depending on your luck if you can get a free appointment or not. Or is there anything wrong in my understanding?

Your understanding is wrong.

Super priority is a UKVI service and not a UKCVAS biomtric service. Paying for super priority has nothing to do with when you are able to get a biomteric appointment or the cost of the biomtric appointment.

Thanks in advance

Hi

I too have been trying to submit SET LR application but not getting the super priority option in the payment page. I have seen that few others have also faced the same. Those who managed to book Super Priority for SET LR, can you please provide some guidance on how to look for a super priority appointment. That would help a lot.

We managed to get it - we stayed up very late till 12am and we had to keep refreshing the page for about an hour (not sure if refreshing was necessary but I’d recommend checking every 5 minutes) we finally saw the super priority option at 12.57am

You cannot "vary". You have to withdraw the current application and apply again. There is no guarantee that super priority will appear as there are limited super priority options at the moment.

You are already advised in your existing topic, link below. Please continue in that topic.

Hi everyone, just wanted to update but will still drop my timeline in the timeline chat. Went for my biometrics today at Chelmsford and got decision email later in the afternoon (super priority) and my ilr set m was successful. Regarding refund of my initial standard application I am still waiting for it but I already got refund for the biometric appointment that I cancelled minus £10. Has anyone gotten their refund for the standard application that they cancelled /withdrew? Thanks to everyone that helped out.

Congrats! I’ve withdrawn my application but still haven’t received a refund also. Just refund on the biometrics appointment.

My biometric is on the 29th at 9am

Just curious that you did biometric and also got decision on the same day.

- What time was your appointment?
- Did you upload your documents prior to attending the appointment?
- Did you pay for the document checking service?
