Select yes and provide details. Your previous application will automatically be withdrawn once you apply for a new application anyways. But it is good you withdrew it on your own via the UKVI cancel link. It will not harm providing details in the new application also. Dont worry and apply for a new application given you still did NOT provide biometrics for previous application and your current visa is valid.
Thanks alot. I rang them and spoke to the advisor who said it could take up to 14days for the refund and was told to select NO on the new application as I withdrew the standard application yesterday. I have now reapplied and submitted a new application as super priority. I also had to cancel the biometric appointment and booked a new one. so hopefully should get a refund .Thank you all for the support.
Hi everyone, just wanted to update but will still drop my timeline in the timeline chat. Went for my biometrics today at Chelmsford and got decision email later in the afternoon (super priority) and my ilr set m was successful. Regarding refund of my initial standard application I am still waiting for it but I already got refund for the biometric appointment that I cancelled minus £10. Has anyone gotten their refund for the standard application that they cancelled /withdrew? Thanks to everyone that helped out.
Congrats! I’ve withdrawn my application but still haven’t received a refund also. Just refund on the biometrics appointment.

My biometric is on the 29th at 9am

Just curious that you did biometric and also got decision on the same day.

- What time was your appointment?
- Did you upload your documents prior to attending the appointment?
- Did you pay for the document checking service?
Appointment was at 12 and got decision email after 4. I uploaded the documents my self on 2nd April when I submitted application. I did not pay for document checking. Hope that helps and goodluck.

Thanks for the information. With regards to letters showing residence - do you have to scan every page of the letter or just the front page showing the address and your name or name of partner?

I scanned all the pages for all the documents and for passport I scanned all pages including blank pages.

Hello, please I have also cancelled my standard application and got an acknowledgement that it was successfully received. However when I tried to start a fresh one I was asked if I have any previous application that has not been decided but not sure what to select if yes or no. Will UK visa still. Contact me or email to say my application has been withdrawn cos the acknowledgement I got was at the end of the form when i used return of document form. Pls help

Congratulations! I had withdrawn my application on 2nd April as well and applied for super priority. My appointment is on 30th April. I got my biometric appointment fee back minus £10. However the previous standard application fee is still outstanding and no email confirmation yet.

Update: UKVCAS advised via Twitter that my Nov application hasn't been submitted to UKVI in the first place because I haven't booked and attended a biometric appointment yet. They said once I attend the appointment the application will be sent to UKVI. So I think I don't need to worry about my application getting rejected. I got my appointment in April so fingers crossed!
You MUST upload your documents on UKVCAS also now or before biometrics appointment in April. I am not sure where you submitted your documents in November but just clarifying that you must upload your documents on the UKVCAS portal. Treat this as a NEW application. It has no link or connection with your September application.
Thanks Cullinan, I had uploaded my documents in November as soon as I submitted my application. I double checked just now on UKVCAS website and they are there :)
Thanks Cullinan and others who advised me - I had my biometric appointment on Monday and received the approval email the next day! I think they must have assessed my online form already and were waiting for UKVCAS to send my information.

Good luck everyone!!

Just booked the appointment - one question is says

5.2. Who should attend the appointment?
All the customers named on the application must attend your appointment with you.
Please only bring named applicants with you to your appointment. For any exceptions where one
additional person may be permitted please see the options below

Do I need to attend the appointment (I am the spouse sponsoring the visa) or is it just the applicant needed?

Hi,

Did you get the refund for your cancelled application? I attended my biometric appointment on 30th April and received the approval email next day. But no communication about the refund for the cancelled application. Should I write to them or call?

Hi,
I'm still waiting for the refund. I rang them some weeks ago and was told the refund could take up to 8 weeks. I cancelled my standard application 1st April so maybe if I don't hear from them or get a refund by 1st June I will start to panic.

I understand, but they can atleast send some acknowledgment email. It's an unstable system. I have submitted my Naturalisation application last week. So now I am not sure if I push them, they may cancel all active applications. Can't take any chances. Will wait.

Hi

I too have been trying to submit SET LR application but not getting the super priority option in the payment page. I have seen that few others have also faced the same. Those who managed to book Super Priority for SET LR, can you please provide some guidance on how to look for a super priority appointment. That would help a lot.
I'd been waiting for months to get a super priority appointment, checking every day without much luck. I saw a post on here that they appointments reset at 12, and then another that said it's actually 1am. I stayed up tonight and refreshed the page from 12 -1 every 2 minutes. At 1 am exactly it magically became an option, so if you really want one I'd suggest you do the same. I'm so glad I found that info, otherwise I'd have been waiting months to get one! Good luck!

Just take the passport and appointment confirmation QR code. Ideally, it is always advised to take all originals like passport, brp and any other originals like LIUK, Degree etc (in case a scan needs to be redone). No need to print soft copies.
However, if you have already self-submitted documents, nothing except passport and QR code will be checked. All online evidence is accepted now. Its for HO to verify the authenticity.

Hi everyone.
I have booked my biometrics appointment for 21st June, applying for ILR with my husband. My question is, I have a newborn baby (nearly 3 months old) who can't stay with anyone. Can I take him with me to the appointment?
