Tier 1 entrepreneur time in UK for ILR

Post by Oposum » Wed Apr 10, 2019 12:00 am

Hello,

I came to UK to study in 2016, and had Tier 4 student visa until the end of 2017. After my visa expired, I applied and got Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur visa for 1 year, and after that I applied for Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa (from November 2018).

I started my company in February 2018, and I now have 18 full time employees, which qualifies me for fast track ILR as tier 1 entrepreneur.

So, my timeline is:
August 2016-Dec 2017 Tier 4 student visa
Dec 2017-Nov 2018 Tier 1 Graduate entrepreneur visa
Nov 2018- present Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa

My question is, do I need to be 3 years on Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa before I apply to ILR, or I can count my days of stay on student/graduate entrepreneur visas?

Thank you,
Alex

For ILR, only time spent under Tier 1 entrepreneur route counts. So you can apply if eligible under accelerated route before Nov 2021
