Best of Luck Tier11417.

Quick question : What evidences will you provide to support the reason for all the absences from the UK and Crown dependencies ? and the answer is no evidence needed.

Best of luck..... can you please tell us where it says in online form absense from UK do we have to declare all absences like i go back home almost every year for one month to visit my family. Do I have to declare all dates since 2010 i am in Uk ? If yes then what evidence I have to give because I don't have any apart from passport stamps??

Good luck Tier11417. You have appointment earlier to me. Do update us about it? I heard from my colleague who applied recently that at Sopra they issue a ticket at start to be in queue and then call according to ticket number not by appointment time which means going little earlier will benefit. Then they do biometrics for all people in room and then start again with first in queue for documents checking. Looks very unorganised. Lets see what u experience.

You will need to mention all absences during your last 5 years (your qualifying period for ILR). There is no evidence needed for Tier 1 is exempted.
You do NOT need to mention any absences before 5 years.

@sam
You need to provide the details of ur absences for last five years only.
As Tier1 visa holder u are exempt of providing any evidence. As Tier11417 has mentioned earlier in this thread, u can attach one line note in documents saying u are exempt of providing absence proof as it does appear in document checklist. I have mentioned this in cover letter only. Lets see what Sopra people will say about it.

Thank you Meesha. Will update tomorrow.

Also one thing I noticed which may benefit you also.
Once you pay and submit the form gives three links.
1) Checklist to download
2) Filled form to download (it says we dont need to take this with us - just for our records)
3) book appointment

Although the checklist says we have agreed to submit the following documents but also says to tick the boxes again and the check list has a barcode and its two pages. Tick that and also upload with your douments if you have not yet.

Yes i have not uploaded checklist. I will now. However i did tick the boxes and have downloaded form and checklist to keep as record. Can you confirm tomorrow from Sopra if we need to provide any thing in finances except maintenance proof which is optional. My husband believes employees wage slips and business bank statement or bank letter should go in finances while i think it belongs to business proof.

The checklist is barcoded and I think needs to be uploaded which will complete the form then so better to upload.
I have only uploaded my personal bank statements in finance.
I think its correct to upload BB statement and wage slips is business category and thats what i did but if they tell me something else il let you know

Thanks. Have u seen any success story for tier1 to ILR recently? How long did UKVI takes to issue them ILR? I am just anxious to know it though every case is different and is being decided on its own merit.

I know a few people who have been granted ILR in around 3-3.5 months via Tier 1. I would say that is the guide timeline these days but ofcourse you never know.
And the standard service says 6 months

It also confused me a bit. I thought i have ticked something in application form which brought it up but it also showed up in ur document checklist!
I have attached incorporation letter as one point says company house registration document and second time it asks for filling history which definitely is CAR.
However i think only CAR will be enough but just "tick the box rule" makes me upload 2 documents for it i:e incorporation letter and recent CAR.
But i think u were already planing to send incorporation certificate too?

No I am not sending incorporation certificate.
My understanding is that it comes up when it asks you about are you the director? Under business activity. So I suppose CAR will show me as a director.
And later it asks about filling history and appointments so that is CAR also.
I believe its CAR only that will serve the purpose but yes its confusing.
CAR gives same details as the incorporation certificate anyways right?

Btw I went back in my thread and saw Marcnath have already answered this question. So CAR serves both.

Hi,
I have uploaded business bank statement in Finance.
Where have you uploaded employee payslip and RTI ? I think payslips and RTI should go in Emplyment section.

I uploaded them all in proof of business.
No the sponsors/employment is not relevant to Tier 1. Its clearly something to do with Tier 2.
