Tier 2 General to ILR

Post by iatuam » Mon Jan 01, 2018 4:14 pm

Hi,
I was wondering when is the earliest I can make my ILR application, I have been on Tier 2 General from 15th March 2013 then I extended another 3 years in 2016 to March 2019. From what I have been reading on the UKBA site it appears I can make an application for ILR in March 2018 even though my visa expires in 2019, is this right?

You can apply within 28 days completing 5 years. If Tier2 issue date is 15th March 2013 then you'll complete 5 years on 15th March 2018. You can apply within 28 days

You can apply on/after Thursday, 15 February 2018

I am confused, you said 28 days but you have mentioned 15/Feb/2018. Did you apply for ILR already and what is your status?

I think it’s pretty clear Makky88 suggested the earliest
I can apply which I believe is correct.

I booked my appointment for the first week in April to give me time to take Life in the Uk test, which is done now.
Will let you guys now how it goes.
