Hello All
Well I don't really know what UKVI is up to! probably the status update date is the date that the online status update was originally generated (lol) Actually mine says 25th May ( maybe we have a lot of members with 25th May as well) I kind of still find it absurd for a decision to be on queue for nearly 2 months. Maybe the guys just put this up so as to take a bit of rest from applicants or are eager to know about their application progress (lol) Let's just keep our fingers crossed and wait for decision to roll in very soon.

Hi,
Mine also 'Awaiting Decision' and last updated 21st April 2017. not sure online tracking is showing correct.
I have also just typed some random letters 'S' and 'V', for S it showing as Decided last updated 18th May 2017.
for V showing as Decided last updated 7th May 2017.
So not sure we can relay on this information(online tracking).
Thanks

There seem to be nothing special about this online service, It gives you the same generic answer. Most applicants have this view that HO is not somehow updating them on their applications in detail. The fact of the matter is that you cannot chase up a visa application in detail and I do not think such a thing will ever be available to migrants as it is not feasible.
Advice is given based on my personal research and experience only. Do NOT contact me via private message for immigration advice

I wonder what they mean by awaiting a decision. Surely if they're considering an application, someone is in the progress of deciding the result of the application.

I asked around and they do update the status but will only do so when they make a decision. A couple of people have got their status changed from awaiting decision to decided.

Hi,
Strangely enough i checked my immigration waiting application ref last night and it is now showing "DECIDED" with application status date updated on 8th Aug 2016 (2 DAYS after i posted my application last year)
Very nervous and confused at same time. Nervous because what is the outcome? confused- shall i trust the website as the date is in past year.
Please check yours and suggest or share if you had same issue.
Thanks

Hi
I think the UKVI still have some flaws with the checking system however it is still a good attempt which we hope gets better soon for the benefit of future applicants. I think all you can do is to wait for the post man to knock on your door and DR to deliver your card (lol) please do update us as soon as you can. All the best.

Hi
Did you receive letter of "exceptional complex issues" from UKVI?

I did recieve letter stating issues extracting my biometrics and hence it's taking longer then 6 months.
Letter didn't state any complex issues in it...

No, i didn't intend to escalate things through MP in beginning. However i did call few times and send 1 letter through solicitor after which i receive same reply for waiting as it is out of service guidelines of 6 months. And then received questionnaire.
