I did recieve letter stating issues extracting my biometrics and hence it's taking longer then 6 months.

Letter didn't state any complex issues in it...

No, i didn't intend to escalate things through MP in beginning. However i did call few times and send 1 letter through solicitor after which i receive same reply for waiting as it is out of service guidelines of 6 months. And then received questionnaire.

When I put case ID, it says Awaiting decisions and when I put reference number it say decided, with last year date 18 June 2016 using online service. This was the date when result of my administrative review was given. HO is not giving me information on phone as well.

Hi,
I read in British citizenship section of the forum of a member who received the decision after 2- 3 weeks after the online status was updated as decided.

Hi everyone,
I'm still waiting for a response.
Applied in 2016 May
Interview in middle of March 2017

Finally after requesting several times, UKVI have sent my passport copy to the council to give notice of marriage. Despite requesting them to send my copies directly to the council (this is what the process as requested by the council) twice, they sent it to me and my solicitor. Finally they sent the copies to the council day before yesterday.

Did anyone manage to contact the home office on 0300 123 2241? I've been trying for a while but not able to speak to anyone. Been on the recorded music for nearly 15 minutes in some cases for 30 minutes.

I used the online status check page https://contact-ukvi.homeoffice.gov.uk/ ... visastatus

When I used my home office reference number (HXXXXXXX), the status came up as decided. when I used it in the past, it said incorrect reference Issue is, it says decided on 10 July 2016. Did anyone check this service?

When I use my case id it says 'The reference number XXXXXXXX has not been recognised'. (I used the case ID without the 0 at the beginning as instructed in the website)

Forum users and moderators, appreciate if you could share your experience / what you know.

Hi All,

I spoke to them on the same number on 7th July, waited 23 mins then connected. She asked me about the call reference number which I stated this is my first call. So she had given me the ref. number and asked my name along with my mobile number.

Then she asked the purpose of my call which I explained and she directed me to the relevant department after giving me their number.

So yes they do pick up the call, have patience and tolerance my friend. We are in need not them.

So good luck.
