US/India earning

Can any one please explain how to calculate earnings for my nephew.
payment details are as follows;
he intend to file in April first week.
he is working in US since Oct 2007 and paid in US dollars plus in India also.How to calculate? not sure about it.What band score will be applicable?These all salaries are reflected in salary slips.
