Info about visa and indefinate leave to remain

Post by Halima » Sat Mar 06, 2010 12:24 pm

Hi,
I just wanted some info for a friend who is VERY upset.

Cutting a long story short as i don't want to waste too much of everyones time.

Her husbands visa was rejected and went on appeal. The appeal was then accepted and he has given in his passport to be stamped so that he can join his wife.

What i wanted to know is wether she can apply for a loan for about 3,000pounds and wether it will effect her husbands visa and indefinate leave to remain after 2yrs?

Hope I could get some replies asap.

Thanks Alot

Why is she VERY upset? If the appeal had been lost then I could understand, but the appeal has been won and she will shortly be living with her husband in the UK.

A loan? As long as it is clear that her husband will not need to claim certain Public Funds, when he is applying for the ILR, there should not be a problem.
