information about national insurance number

hi my name is deryl i am from mexico and i just move to uk and i have few cuestions about what i need to do or what is the steps i need to do i have my family permit because my wife is lithuanian and she live her for few years ,i read some where in the imigration page the i have the right to live and work wherever with this family permit but i just want to know what i need to do for i can have a national insurance number they asking me for apply in a jop and what i need for a drive license i just a little confused a bout what i need to do for i can star working i live in lincoln,some one here they have similar problems or cuestion and they find the way to resolve and they want to help me i will appreciate very muchs
