Initial application outside UK doubt !!

Post by muditmalhotra » Wed Mar 10, 2010 7:33 pm

Hi All
I am mudit, i am elegible to apply for tier 1 acc to PBC, now few doubts that i have are
1- my university is thr on PBC, and i get 35 points for masters and 10 points for english.. if the university is on PBC do i still need to take a letter from university ? ,,, Also in this case, i called university people for this letter, they said u get all such letters from your respective college. i can get a letter saying that my masters was in english but here point is, MY UNIVERSITY IS THERE ON PBC BUT COLLEGE IS NOT, i dont know how much sense it makes, but wat i doubt is ,, are embassy people aware of this thing that there are affiliated colleges to universities ? if i show a letter from my college, wont it confuse the case analyser ?
so should i get a letter from college or not ?

2 - second doubt is regarding my prev earnings, i ge tgood enough points for my salary as per current currency rates, but i am jus short to next level, if i add my bonus into my salary i get another 5 points hence making my case further strong,, so can i include bonus into prev earnings ? also we dont get any slip/statement for bonus, its just the entry into bank saying "Bonus Payout" and that is mentioned in my offer letter that i wil lrecieve bonus, but i dont get anything similar to salary slip,, how can I make sure that case analyser considers my bonus as well ?

kindly guide as i want to apply next week,, and i am not really sure about how these things work,,

Thanks
Regards

Read through the guidance twice before taking any action. Where did you find that you need a letter from University for your English language requirement? If you are able to find the university, then your degree should suffice!

If you have the required points, then your case would be successful. You need two proofs from different sources to prove the earnings. So if the bonus amount is not in salary slip, get a letter from your employer for the gross amount and the net amount for each month. You should ensure that the net amount should match exactly with the amount credited to the bank

kindly guide as i want to apply next week,, and i am not really sure about how these things work,,

127. An applicant should use the closing exchange rate on the OANDA website at http://www.oanda.com/convert/classic on the last day of the period for which he/she has claimed earnings in that currency. This is an independent website, for which we are not responsible.
