Inquiry Regarding Combination of Stay for Immigration Purposes

I am writing to seek clarification on a matter related to my immigration status.

I was a resident in Poland for three years, working as a senior software developer. During this time, I held a Blue Card (Critical Skills employment). Two years ago, I relocated to Ireland after being granted a Critical Skills Employment Permit and have been residing here since.

I am interested in understanding if it is possible to combine my three-year stay in Poland with my current two-year stay in Ireland for immigration calculation purposes, particularly regarding potential eligibility for citizenship. I would appreciate any guidance or information you can provide regarding the process and eligibility for such a consideration

Ireland doesn't participate in the Blue Card scheme, so no you can't. Participants listed here:

If you were working in say, Malta you could combine your time with time in Poland towards a Blue Card, but time in Ireland doesn't count. (Edit - or rather, you could use Blue Card time in one country to add to Blue Card time in another to qualify for some (limited) freedom of movement rights. None of this is additive across countries for citizenship though, and of course, not in Ireland either as they don't even recognise Blue Cards.)
