Hi there....I feel so lost in this process right now. I applied for a HSMP visa to go to the UK from the US, but it was rejected due to a paperwork error...so our representation in the UK reapplied this past week (on her expense due to the oversight!).
I am in all hopes that it will come back approved!!! as is my representation in the UK. I am very qualified for the visa...I make pleanty of money here in the US, I am 29 years old, female, college educated, US citizen, clean record...
I am very curious to what happens once I get the approval...I know that there is an interview at my nearest embassy that is in Los Angeles. What do I need to bring with me to this? What questions do they ask? Will they want more paper work from my employers and financial institutions? Will have to bring in all current bank statements or do they just ask about what was submitted? And do I get the interview pretty quick after the approval letter is received? Do you have to show any kind of medical clearence, drug testing etc?
I am so eager to get to the UK...i fell in love with a British man and we are planning on getting married in the next year or so. I cant wait to get there and start our life together, but this process is so tedious and so unknown!!
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!!
