Hello there!
I'm currently in the US and my company is transferring me to our branch in Ireland under the Intra-Company transfer visa. They already applied and now I'm waiting for the approval.
But I do have a few questions:
- Once approved, can I just travel to Ireland and say to the immigration officer that I am being transferred and that's it, or do I need to take a document or something like that with me?
- My US visa expires on March 25th, my intra-company was submitted on Feb 19th and I can see that they are only processing the Feb 4th applications, which means that by March 25th (the day I have to leave the US) they won't have processed my application. But my company already bought my tickets for the 25th, since I cannot stay longer. Is it OK for me to enter as a Business/Tourism and when the application is processed/approved, I can change my visa/stamp?
- I'm going with my wife and newborn son, they have passports that do not require a visitor visa. When we arrive, do I have to register them somewhere as dependents of a intra-company transfer visa?
Thanks!
