Intra company work permit holder ? extension

Post by lemonpie » Mon Feb 01, 2010 9:48 pm

Hi, does anyone know what an intra-company work permit visa look like? Does it mention "ICT"?

my friend has applied for her work permit (prior to points based system) through an agent. She keeps telling me that she is on intra-company transfer work permit. However, when I had a look at the entry clearance visa on her passport, it only mentioned "work permit" without "ICT". I wonder if she is on a general work permit visa but I am not sure. The reason I asked is that her current visa will be due to expire in 3 months and her employer asked her to prepare for the sponsor licence registration. She has not had a clue whether her employer should register under Tier 2 (General) or Tier 2 (ICT). Thanks

1. Either way the company needs to be a licenced sponsor and then u can choose the category but first of all needs to register with HO.
