inviting my parents In-laws to the UK

Post by Mawi88 » Tue Jul 27, 2021 9:32 pm

Dear All,

My parents in law are planning to come and visit us in the UK. My father in-law is an EU citizen = and my mother is non-EU citizen. From them to visit, my mother in-law needs to apply for a UK standard visit visa. To this end I have a number of questions that i am hoping you can help me with:

1. Given the current Covid-19 travel restrictions in the UK, can she apply for a visitor visa ? i should note that she will be applying from France.

2. My parents in-law will fully fund their trip. However, they will be staying in our house. I am currently renting a 3 bedrooms house. What kind of documents i will need to provide them to support this ? do i need to obtain the permission of the landlord ?

Your help is much appreciated.

Kind regards,
Mawi

1. NO restriction assuming they are not travelling from a red list country.
Non-UK or Irish citizens are denied entry from Red list countries atm.
2. https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor-vis ... -will-need
