Not a thing moved, Just keep calm and enjoy the waiting. There is a big wisdom behind WAITING but we won't know it because we are in course and for sure we will know all about it in time :)

I like this...you will be alright .. There has been many cases registered of such syndrome and have successfully recovered after the big event. It will happen for us as well. be assured.

I suggest we put banana07 as the mentor and manager of this recovery club. He seems to know INIS the best.

I'm not being so much optimistic about end of March as the next ceremony. I think they need to give us at least a month heads up and there is still no publication for the next ceremony. I was calling them a week ago and they told me "they still wait for the Garda reports" (and my case is very simple, but already close to 5 months and no approval)

Hoping this week some of us will start seeing approvals so we can know they are rolling out already...

Rang INIS on Thursday, a lady said she would check with the person dealing with my case and call back which she did but with the same update " Processing, waiting for Garda report". Rang again today and another lady picked up the phone and said the person dealing with my case will call me either today or early tomorrow regarding my application. I don't understand why they want to call, all I need is my approval. Any idea guys on what could be going on?

Hi guys i applied in june got first and second letters in july. After that one letter saying uk visit visa was refused. So i sent them the uk border agency refusal letter and they said it has been recieved by them. Its been 8 months already still no approval. I sent them email today and below is the reply i got after 8 months :) is anyone else on the same boat as me? :(

Hi

Your application continues to be processed with a view to establishing
whether it meets the statutory conditions for the granting of
naturalisation, such as good character and lawful residence, and will be
submitted to the Minister for decision as expeditiously as possible.

It is recognised that all applicants for citizenship would wish to have a
decision on their application without delay. As well as being a
significant event in the life of the recipient, the granting of Irish
citizenship through naturalisation as provided for in law is also a major
step for the State which confers certain rights and entitlements not only
within the State but also at European Union level and it is important that
appropriate procedures are in place to preserve the integrity of the
process.

@handyman83

Yes I think we have the same time frame, also applied in June to be precise 17th of June and still no news on approval.
I'm actually looking forward to that call, as I was told someone is going to call me regarding my application.

@Beachboy,

Not yet, if it doesn't happen then I will have to get back to them tomorrow when the lines are open between 10:30 and 12:30 and quote the lady's name so as to know why I didn't get the call as promised. I wrote an official letter to them addressing it to the supervisor since the 20th of January and up till now no acknowledgement letter received when I asked the lady she said they have a backlog of mails since Christmas and will sure acknowledge it at some point. I guess I can't do much now but to keep ringing every Tuesdays and Thursdays just to keep reminding them that someone is waiting so that they can go bring out my file where they have kept it. " The violent takes it by force" , It's all in God's hands anyway, whatever will be will be but let's do our best and don't give up.

@ All I received a letter today instead of a call that my Citizenship application is now on hold pending the decision of my retention of rights application after 8months. Hopefully I should know my fate soon as I was told in a letter from EU treaty division that my case is in it's final stage of processing on the 20th of January 2015 which is almost a month ago.
