Hi there

Just wanted to add a timeline. My civil partner applied as the spouse of an Irish citizen living in Northern Ireland.

Application Based On: 3 years of residence in NI as civil partner of an Irish citizen
Applied On: 8th August 2017
Application delivered On: 10th August 2017
Acknowledgement: 17th August 2017 (Passport received back alongside a letter asking why the signature on his Chinese passport and the declaration part of the application form were different. He signed the application form in English whilst the passport was signed in Chinese characters. We replied to the letter stating that he has changed his signature and that he uses only the English one now on 18th August 2017 and the response should be delivered to INIS on 22nd/23rd August 2017).
