Received post on 12/8/20 containing my passports, receipt of a naturalisation application fee payment and a letter with application no.)

Letter quoted, "it takes 12 months for a straightforward application to be processed from the date it is received to the date a decision is made".

27/08/2020 - Phone call (private number) to confirm address. 01/09/2020 received passports back, as well as the payment confirmation and application number. The letter says that the application is being processed and that they will contact me in case they need any other clarification / documentation, otherwise my file will be forwarded to the minister, in which case I will hear back from them „in due course” or as soon a decision has been made:) Timeframe for a straightforward application is 12 months.
