Hello Every one ! does anyone know how long does it take to receive second email notification from DOJ in regards of certificate ? i cheeked my spam and junk email but nothing . i would be glad if someone give me time frame ,Thanks
i applied for citizenship: November 2018
second stage 29 December 2018
approval on the 29-March 2021 :D
950 was paid on the 6TH April using online system ,i received confirmation payment same day .
Affidavits with IRP and phots were sent the following day .received on the 9 April
certificate still waiting ......... :?

That was a very different process, I wasn't asked to send my affidavit with IRP and photos, it didn't say this in my letter, so only posted a fidelity form... I got my approval in April.

Does anyone know why is like this?

Thanks

Namaskar Bealtaine :)

That's true, it's been nearly 3 months and no sign of Certificate yet.

i have sent my 950 DD through post in Oct 2020. i guess they have started taking online payments recently (may be from Feb/March). even if that's the case they can't abandoned the old approved applicaiton

i feel sometimes need to change my user name from luckyfish (as there is no luck with INIS :? ) Waitiing continues ......
Namaskar ji :)

Goodness. Can’t imagine that- Oct 2020!

Have you heard from them?

I haven’t written in since the 26th of April (emailed the minister only to find that she gave birth the next day). Nothing from the citizenship desk either so alas.

I had no idea they had an online option to be honest. Would’ve happily paid online and submitted photos online had I known!

I wonder if things will kick in from next week once the restrictions are lifted and they can prob deposit those bank drafts.

Hope you’re keeping well and enjoying the sunshine!

Is there any word on the possibility of this scheme being extended beyond May or are we back to in person ceremonies after that (and possibly not until December?)

Depends. If restrictions are lifted sooner, then approved applicants will have a proper official ceremony.
If not, then most likely the email system will continue.

Hi guys,
Am just wondering that me and my wife applied for citizenship same time. We always received every single letter together. But she received her approval on 4th may letter dated 29 april. And am still waiting for it. What could be the possibility delay in my case?

Congrats to your wife but don't find an opportunity to spoil this thread with unnecessary questions;
a. Did you all use the same form and pay 175 only for both as Mr and Mrs?
b. Your packages were mixed up obvious from the post office in Tipp plus every case is different.
We are frustrated with the system but there is a thread for everything here

Did anyone receive a digital copy of the Declaration of fidelity to the state?

Just wait. You will get an email with the declaration and instruction. You can't sent the declaration until you get the email. Even if someone else shares the file with you, the Department will not be issuing a certificate without the invitation first.

This isn't necessarily true. I only got my Affidavit by post and never received an email about it at all and don't have a digital copy of the form.

You are missing the point. Certificate will not be issued without the invitation to send the declaration first. It doesn't matter if it was sent to the applicant by email or by post.

I think you missed my point too which was referring to the fact that receiving the affidavit or invitation is not confined to emails. That was the only point I was trying to make as the original poster was asking if anyone recieved the affidavit by email and had a digital copy of same. They weren't asking about a certificate..so perhaps you missed the point.

I did not say that it will be email-only. Polarcub asked if anyone received digital copy of the Declaration. We can interpret it differently, but I presumed that he or she has not been sent the declaration yet, and is seeking a copy, and that is why I am making a point that certificate will not be issued without the invitation to send the declaration first. As a regular use of the forum, they are probably aware that some people are getting paper version, while others receiving the declaration via email. Hope you get it now. If I misunderstood polarcub, that's fine, it's up to them to clarify what they meant.

I sent mine with registered post and I'm able to track if they received it or not. If you sent with registered post try using anpost's tracking system.

I sent to 2 email addresses citizenshipinfo@justice.ie and citizenshiponline@justice.ie

Got auto reply from first email, no auto from second email.

The second email I found in fees confirmation email after completed the online payment, as I submitted wrong document, so I reattached this document and sent to 2 addresses.

What pdf document did you send via email?

I have seen people posted here saying they have been waiting for 5 weeks or sth..

New passport will take another 4 weeks at least I guess, never ending process lol
