Application submitted to the Minister

I've got status update at the end of August that my application submitted to the Minister for a decision.

Does anyone know how long it can take from this stage? And can I trust them that it was actually submitted.

I've applied in 2018.

I got same reply in July. Still waiting since then. I want to believe that it's just their usual copy and paste.
