Hi
I will be applying soon .I just uploaded last three month bank statement and 1 electricity bill .is there anything left which I need to upload in that online system??
One of my hubby friend said once you submit your application through their online website then you can't upload missing documents later.
And I we even don't know about acknowledgement email and application reference number by INIS.
You don't need both bank statements and Electricity bill. The following is all you need:

- Biometric pass of your current passport
- IRP front and back
- ONE of the following:
Electricity bill
Letter from Landlord or letting agency with contact number
Bank statement showing rental payment
Evidence of rental payment
Title or deeds
Letter from local authority or county council, mortgage provider.

Once you submit the application online, you will then get an email with acknowledgement number.

Yes once submitted, you can't amend the form.

Hope it helps.

A friend of my hubby send him a screenshot stating that

.Biometric page of your current valid passport(s)
. The front and back of your IRP card
. Biometric page of Uk national current valid passport (s)

You know INIS did not mention about Biometric page of UK national current valid passport in FAQ template..

You are correct. Biometric page is not required to be uploaded for UK National, only non-eu applicant's.

Water_tank1, did you receive the following email?

If you login to your account online ( under "My Forms"), does it say your application was completed?

We received an application from you on xx/01/2021 for your Irish Residence Card Renewal (Dublin Region).
Your Acknowledgement Number is xxxxx

Immigration Service Delivery, Department of Justice have decided to discontinue the systematic stamping of passports for those people who apply to renew their registration in this State. There is therefore no longer a requirement for applicants using the online renewal system, to submit their passport or IRP Card by post. If an application is granted, a new IRP card will follow by Express Post within 5-10 working days. This card will serve as the basis for your permission to reside in the State.

Please note a processing officer may ask for further documentation if deemed necessary. We also reserve the right to request sight of your passport during the processing stage.

Thanks!

No, no need to upload utility bill or bank statement. Only what is shown on the pdf file listing the required documents.

Hi
I received that acknowledgment email after I submitted my application. After a few days, I got the email stating:

Your application for Irish Residency Permit Card Renewal (Dublin Region), Acknowledgement Number XXXX, Application Date XXXX.

The processing of your application has been completed and you will shortly receive your new Irish Residency Permit Card by post - (approximately 5-10 working days).

I submitted a copy of my passport page, IRP card, British citizen’s passport and utility bill. The online system shows the form as completed. I am waiting for the new IRP.

Thanks Happykai. May I know what was your application date online?

I have actually re-submitted a new application today coz I missed UK Passport Biometric page.

I applied on 1 January and received the acknowledgment email on the same date. The last email came on Friday 8 January.

Raja.Brit did you cancel your first application? They can request a copy of the British citizen’s passport when processing the application. I hope INIS realises it’s confusing people with regards to the required documents.

Thanks for the update.

No I didn't cancel the first one. Just included a note on the second one and emailed EU Treaty to combine the application.

I didn't realize it took a week for them to process looking at your timeline. I should have waited perhaps for a response on my 1st application, haha.

I will keep you posted how I get on.

All the best!

Good morning guys
I did applie last night for replacement card and made a mistake and couldn't upload a utility bill while uploading other documents and submit online application. Later is realized that I forgot to upload our utility bill with application. I went through my INIS online account and clicked on additional documents slot and submitted our utility bill afterwards o received acknowledgment email with different reference number.
Will there be any problem or delay my application like that because of this ?
I have got two acknowledgement reference number just wondering which one can I use for future reference?
Any lead would be highly appreciated
Many thanks

You actually don't need to upload Utility Bill. Just Biometric Page of Applicant and UK Citizen + IRP Front and back of Applicant.

I also have 2 applications as I didn't initially upload my Passport Biometric page. Don't worry, we will be fine.

Hope it helps.
