Since last couple of months they do not send any automatic acknowledgement. They reply in 3-4 days

I'm sure they'll have a new ceremony soon. If it is in November as people were saying here it is likely to be announced in mid-Sept as it was in 2016.

I was thinking the same. They are probably compiling names of those that will attend the ceremony as well as completing application.

The date has not yet been decided. But they will put in on the website in a couple of weeks. So looks like we just have to wait.

Speculation .. last time it was notified 2.5 months in advance . Considering there’s another ceremony in 26/11 with no storms around - the date they will notify is in next 2-3 weeks

Well based on the hearsay here for 26/11 ceremony and second stage letter received 03/06, I booked flight to Killarney, hotel and car hire just in case. Fingers crossed, can cancel car and hotel if it doesn’t work out.

Perhaps 😂, I call it insurance. Gleneagle pretty much booked out Sun 25th. Only lose £48 if it doesn’t happen/I’m not approved in time.

I got my approval on the 17/04, they got the payment on the 18/04 and i did not get invited for May's ceremony. You are very optimistic, these guys are just so unpredictable. There is not point to guess what's gonna happen next as there is no pattern!

Even if you do get approved before the ceremony date, you send your payment " if you want to be considered for the next ceremony".
On the other hand, i wish you the very best of luck and i hope it works as planned!

Brilliant idea. Booked a room too for the Sat/Sun, can be cancelled if necessary. Husband got his approval about 2 weeks ago and they asked for the 950 EUR and his GNIB card to be sent back within 10 days if he wants to be included in next ceremony. So fingers crossed there will be one soon enough...

True. They can't expect people to go on for long without documents. They took everyone's GNIB cards after all.

On 31st of May 2017 they announced there’d be a ceremony for 300 people in 19 June 2017. This was a three weeks notice. So no one knows it could happen

I'm sorry but this is impossible.

1 because they wouldn't do a ceremony here in Dublin
2 if it was on the 10th of Sept it'd have been announced already
