Change in employment during citizenship process

Post by amolbawate » Fri Jan 29, 2021 6:42 pm

Hi Folks,

I have applied for citizenship in Aug 2020 haven't received any updates except initial acknowledgement.

I have accepted a new job offer here in Dublin. Do I need to update DoJ about change in employment ?

Regards,
AB

No.
You must inform them only if you become unemployed or claim social welfare payments.
Changing your job is not considered as important change in your circumstances since you're still supporting yourself financially.
