Tbh best advise for everyone if allegation are made in your application then better of leaving. Department will not listen to u at all not matter what u do or how much taxes u paid. I have 2 garages. Thousand and thousand paid in vat and prsi for 9 years.. they didn't bother for single second to consider this. I closed sold everything and left. Why wud I pay them my taxes when they don't ever bother listening to our problem. Where they don't have give us chance to defend our selves.
Sorry to hear all this. It's an honest advice but everyone should atleast try their luck. After these general elections I hope things will get better in a few months time.
Everyone need to hire a competent and very good lawyer to represent their case.

General elections will not change their policy dramatically. Only protest and request inis of our long term stay here.

New election wudnt change anything. Beaurocrates are the one who holds the office and they remains their seats. New minister will join them and they will nag in his ear too:
Very backward system . Do clear one file it taking them over 4 years.. it's shaming

I hope Chenchooliah judgement help everyone. Let’s see what’s the inis policy would be on Chenchooliah judgement. They cannot drag everyone to marriage of convenience and deny them Chenchooliah case. But let’s see how it goes. Any update when inis will announce Chenchooliah policy

People working with inis is not stupid, they have to investigate cases. U cant blame gov or any department.

Inis is not after individual they are after non EU immigrants. Specially they way all non EU got married in similar way and in same years.
It's a pattern. Believe it or not but mostly non EU have same type of immigration history. So if someone think he can come up with something new then sorry they seen all tricks, all excuses
thanks to UKBA training.
Now after 5 years every second file is coming for retention the same way some people got away with passport in alan shatter time. Now same group of people applying foreign divorces. They are getting issues with foreign divorces. It's never ending process.
We majority think once u get passport then its mission accomplished but no now people are getting letters from DOJ that they are investigating ABC issues in ur file so either explain or u lose ur passport.

@finepaddy. Question is not that student changed the status to eufam from student. Question is what forced the students to take this step All got married in same years. It is because minister came up with maximum 7 years policy on student visa, which destroyed majority of students life, ruined their education and potential careers as they cannot complete their education and they did eufam adventures. Everyone has its own story how that 7 year rule impacted their life, so not all the goes to individuals. What policy the department had for timeout students. Why they didn’t let students to complete their education. Why didn’t department review the cases on individual students so those who were progressing in their education should had allowed to complete their education. People life’s are now destroyed and no one cares like these are not human beings.

Two time they offer student schemes. What else u want ( instead student or visitor visa they give stamp 4 to everyone ? )
Gov make policy and department implement. Dont understand if 7 year is not enough for anyone, it's like 7 year is not enough so why not give us passport straight away.

well Student scheme came after 10 years , who knew back then that there will be students scheme in 2018. Also how many of them got visa from scheme ? Only 2000 . Rest either changed their status and left the country.

And 7 years are not always enough if you want to complete your full education plus if you can prove that you are consistent in your education through out these years , there should been a policy to let the students to complete and wind up. But who listened.

two ceremonies are lined up for march 2020. if the department was that rigorous in investigating each case there wouldnt be that much invitation gone out.. because most of the case of the same nature as we discuss earlier

I dont know if they listen or not but I dont see any harm if u want to write a letter or MOJ. U never know.
Maybe one day someone get benefit from u r letter.

If u have any opinion or idea then why not share with inis.
U have same rights as any irish.

More than 10 ceremonies in last 3,4 year so what. Every marriage is not shame marriage.
People are on work permits then irish spous visas. They are getting approvals from last 15,20 years.
But we are talking about retention. 75 % shame marriages women belong to eastern Europe and grooms are non EU.
Go easy on me. I m not gona approve or reject anyone file. Facts are fact.
At least keep ur mind open to any possibility. Inis is not same like 10 years ago.
When ever I read anyone comments then I always wonder u guys mainly focus what u think but u ever think what department thinks?
The best thing anyone can do is pay attention what they are objecting on any ones case.
U can go to high court for some Immigration cases it's in room no 12 or check on list and follow max barrett court room. Court website wont give u full access of any case.

Dear Karen,
It is sad to see things are turning in this ugly way.
If you could , please put everything up in chronological order.it would help other people to decide their future course of action.
Like when got married?
When got residence card?
When got revocation ?
When review application was made?
When case was put under chencholiah case?
When application under section 3 was made?
I believe it would be great help for people on the forum to understand the processing of the INIS.
Thanks

Guys everyone is posting horror stories about their experiences with the minister.
This morning i have met a south asian guy, applied for passport while not being with his spouse(saperated), passport application approved. He is still on temporary stamp. Both husband wife are still resident in ireland.
Please dont ask me any further information as i dont want to share someone else's information here.
