Citizenship application by post or online?

Post by Angel80002 » Tue Apr 06, 2021 12:54 am

Hi
I have lived in Dublin for over 10 years and as a Uk national I am beginning my Citizenship application. I am slightly confused with the procedure during Covid. are applications still to be sent by Post or is it now apply online? also am I right in that Passports are NOT to be sent only full colour copies??
any help appreciated

I applied in Feb. and sent it by post along with passport (it might take 1 to 2 months to get it back with the current restrictions) ... there's an application timeline thread in here ireland/2021-citizenship-applications-t ... 48-20.html and don't see anyone applying online, and tbh wasn't even aware that it was a possibility ... where did you read about it?

Citizenship applications are by post only. Passports are required.
