I get approval today and I am also from Pakistan (Stamp 1 and Stamp 4).

I applied in Dec 2017 and now have 6 years in Ireland.
Approval like to pay the fee thing before ceremonies invitation or approval to second stage of processing?

Thanks
Approval to pay fee 950 etc
Congratulations! What's the date of your approval letter?

Applied Nov 2017 :( ... I know that being in second stage mean nothing but at least it gave me a hope that they looked at my application :D :D eventually
I know of only 1 person on this forum who has waited longer than you for second stage. You clearly have patience!

Is the approval letter for September 30th ceremony?
Have they started issuing approval letter for Sept. ceremony?
I am curious because I applied since Dec. 2017 and got acknowledgement 2nd January 2018.
Anyone with an idea.
Thanks.

Anyone here who attended the June 25th ceremony in Waterford?
Also any recent approval letter to pay the €950?
Just being curious and frustrated. I have applied since Dec. 2017 and got my first letter 2nd January 2018.
The last letter I got was in February. I have missed both the April 29th and June 25th ceremonies.
Now thinking of Sept. 30th hopefully.
Anyone with a useful tip or update? :x :x
Thanks.

From what I can see, only two people on this forum who applied in 2017 attended (but they applied earlier in the year than you did). It was mostly people from 2018 and a couple from 2019. I was there, as my wife (2018) got it.

Last week they said it was in advance stage! Maybe I should believe them cuz they change their words all the time! I applied in May 2017!

I think you have very good chances to get an approval letter next week. My husband just received his approval yesterday. Best of luck!

If the new citizenship rule applies for everyone who submitted their application and still in the process then there is a big mess for a lot of us. According to my understanding you cannot even leave for a day otherwise we will be rejected or delayed or whatever "NOT SURE WHAT WILL BE THE SITUATION"

I applied Nov 2017 means from that date till back Nov 2016 (I should not have left >> I had a 2 weeks holiday back to my country) :x :x also I am going to a holiday at the end of this year now I am not sure, if I even should go, this country has jokes sometimes regarding their rules

I am not sure if that new rule will be for whoever apply for now and onwards.

That's definitely stupid and sound to me like they could not solve the problem of the process so the judge decided to a whole new rule to stop the flow of the applicants and reduce the pressure on the office.

I felt bad when I read the article yesterday. I believe it will be contested in Supreme Court as stated in the article. This is absolutely insane to hear that you wont be able to travel out of the country for a whole year prior to your application.
Hope and believe this will be reverted back soon.
Fingers crossed.

I applied 2017 March got an acknowledgment in APR
Only got my second stage letter Aug 2018.

FOI came back all positive as my application is straight forward with 5 years on work permit .

Have not moved to advanced stage, (is this normal to get approval without getting to advance stage?)

Haven’t received any communication from INIS asking for anything.

Anyone here applied before me and still waiting ?

Anyone have experienced any action that can move my file ?

I stoped calling because I can’t get anything from whoever is answering the phone.

My last question for those who called and got the answer (your file is with the minister)
Have you received anything in the post like second stage letter?

I know it's coming out of the frustration, been waiting for long and what makes it worse is, seeing people who applied even before me and got nothing so far which means I probably have to wait similar time frame.

It sucks. Anyway there is nothing I can do except waiting and hoping
