Has anyone had any correspondence lately at all from 2017 applications. We applied in April 2017 and nothing but silence. Any ideas what we can do.

Guys, my application is pending since 2017 and today i got a response that they are awaiting final background checks.(it is incumbent on ISD officials to put the complete range of available information to the minister) the office is not alone in operational difficulties etc.... does anyone know what that means? They gave me 10 weeks last year and disappeared. Now they are saying again to not to go into JR etc and that they will respond in 10 weeks once they get the information.
Don’t know what to do. It’s very stressful

Yes for about 200 Euros you can get a lawyer to send JR warning letters to put some pressure on them.

Did anyone receive good news? It will be four years this November for me and I am pretty sickened by it all. How can they think it is just and fair to put fellow human beings through his emotional turmoil. I really do not know what to do. Maybe we are going to have to pay for the lawyers :(

Guys I applied in 2017 too. Early 2017.
I finally this year decided to go the route of JR.
However before we go to court I recived my approval.

You are wasting your time by waiting. 4 years are too much. If you dont go to a Lawyer most likely you will wait for another year or even more.

Really, No need to be scared. Just go to a lawyer and send a prelitigation latter.
If you dont do that it means you are hiding something so in that case just wait for them to give a decision.

Good luck to all

Hi there is there any good news about your application?
Did you got q solicitor last year when they gave you 10 weeks or you contacted them by yourself?
Did they asked you for e vetting?
Thanks and hope that you got your citizenship
