Guys this means one ceremony is in march which is unannounced.
The second is in june.

Third would be in November or December i guess.

I can only hope they wind up 2021 cases in these dates otherwise we can forget about approvals and keep this thread alive until next year

Yes, it is confirmed but i think there is a difference this year. We wont get our naturalisation certification on the day of the ceremony. We have to sign a declaration on the same day and they will post the certificate couple of weeks later.

Hi, can you please specify how and where it is confirmed? I just haven't found anything related to this ceremony, thanks

I received a mail from dept of justice on 24th Feb. The email says the citizenship ceremony is on the 10th of march in RDS Ballsbridge. We have to bring the invitation and current passport/travel doc/IRP card. Along with that, we have to print and bring along the signed declaration of fidelity form. The mail also mentions that we won't receive our certificate of citizenship on the same day instead they will mail us our certificates in a couple of weeks (no date mentioned). If there are any other updates I will let you know.

My wife nonEU 5 years, applied July 2021 got FOI response: application continue processing (the same as my response). She got acknowledgement November 2021 and nothing more...
How many people in that from 2021?
I applied July 2021 completed e-vetting at least.

I applied in July 2021 and got the acknowledgement in early November 2021. No updates since then. I sent multiple emails to them and got random copy-paste responses, sometimes even unrelated to my questions about the current status of my application.

I heard for the Irish - spouse application is slow. I know three applicants who have the same problem. I guess because they have eligibility to work in Ireland due to stamp 4 status. So they process the ones where can get more in terms of income. Ex. Stamp 4 (5 yrs applicants), so their spouses can work. So more benefits for the government I guess.

Still no update from my side as well

Applied in DEC-21 and I just have a reference number from JUNE-2022. No further details.

Sent a couple of emails in DEC-22 and DEB-23 and received a standard reply that we all get, your application is under process and if anything is needed we will get back to you.

I heard some have received e-vetting applied as spouse in 2021 . Did anyone receive e-vetting this week?

Hi,
Applied in June 2021... Aside from acknowledgement of receipt, had no correspondence until yesterday, when they asked for copies of IRP card & landing stamp from passport, and finally provided an application reference number.
I'm hoping this means its nearly done... any advice?
My 5 year stamp 4 is due to expire in July 23 - so I've gone ahead and applied for it renewal again just in case. But I am hoping to not need another Stamp.

They only requested additional documents.
You still have to go through the following steps:

Theres no guarantee that everything will be on time

So the list goes.

Garda vetting invitation letter by post
Garda e-vetting email 1 month wait
Garda e-vetting disclosure 2 weeks wait

Approval letter no one knows it may take upto 1 year
Pay the fees
Fee acknowledgement receipt takes a month
Wait for ceremony invitation takes atleast 2 months
Get naturalisation cert on the day of ceremony
Apply passport
Wait for passport book printing 6 to 8 weeks

To conclude its like a musical chair game, no one knows when you win so just keep walking and to be honest indulge yourself in other things than this because the more you deep you get into the process the more stress you get. There are way so many on this forum who are depressed by the wait game including myself.

Thank you for that... I was reading about the e-vetting requests and not really understanding where in the process that came.
Glad I've gone ahead and applied for a new Stamp 4 at least. Sounds like its gonna be a while

Guys my disclosure was viewed on 24th Feb.
This picture is from a correspondence letter from the minister.

I just want to know what does the last 2 lines means? It doesn't mean that we have to write to the department about evetting disclosure ?

What does aid identification means?

Sounds like your solicitor would need to send the form back with application number and "E-Vetting" written on an envelope with completed NVB1.

to aid - to help. Basically, to help them understand who does the application belong to.

Acknowledgement letter is dated April 2021.
NVB1 form received in January 2023.
E vetting received in February 2023.
Disclosure viewed the same month as the garda email.

No approval letter yet.

By looking at the timelines they are giving approval letters to 2021 cases these days.
Theres a secret unannounced ceremony in 2 days and than another one in june.

By the way i got the correspondence after my solicitor wrote a letter otherwise i would still be sitting without a vetting letter now.

When did you apply yourself?

How long after applying did your solicitor write a letter? What sort of letter? I applied August 2022. So much for this "average 6-9 months processing time in 2022" bulldust! Utter lip service!!!
