Citizenship in progress and change job

Post by yomariano05 » Tue Apr 20, 2021 4:54 pm

Hi all,

I applied for the citizenship a couple of months ago but I change my job now so I wonder if I should send the the people who process the citizenship that I change my job or I shouldn't do anything.

Thanks.

No.
You must inform the Citizenship team if any of these happen: you become unemployed or claim social welfare, change your address, get arrested, charged with offence or a crime, leave Ireland for more than six weeks, get married or divorced.

As you're still employed. although in a different job, you are still supporting yourself financially, and therefore this is not a big change in your circumstances.
