Today, It has been 2 months since I applied for the IRP renewal. Is there anybody who applied mid-September and got their confirmation e-mail at least?
Thanks John but it is always quicker in the local office. In Dublin, it is not an option unfortunately.johnpromise01 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 9:41 amI applied for my IRP renewal at my local garda station on 2nd of November and i received with before two weeks. I was surprised too.
Hi , I applied on 15th of September for a stamp 4 renewal. I have received the confirmation e-mail as of today - I hope this helps.sanchops wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 11:55 amThose announcements are welcome (IRP valid to travel until January and Citizenship Applications new guidelines in terms of passport).
However, people that are changing from stamp1 to stamp4 like I am are being left in the dark... I don't really care about traveling until January, but I am about to lose a unique job offer because it's been nearly 8 weeks since I applied for the IRP and probably I won't get it in the next 2 weeks.
This is very disrespectful, to be honest. They need to understand that the delays have huge effect on people's life.
can't PM you, so will have to derail this thread a bit, sorry!
from my experience i'm afraid it'll take 2 months + a tad more, just so you know
The renewal was for Stamp 4 EUFam, they requested the passport copy of my spouse (which I should have added), and address proof for both of us.
