June 2018 and I’ve been receiving the same email that some checks takes longer to certain applicants and on top of that, they told a TD establishing I am of a good character could take time! Which is facial profiling if you ask me
R.acial* profiling
Did you receive 2nd stage letter? If yes, when you got it?
2nd stage: in June (after a year and the TD correspondence with them)amwaraich wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 8:09 amDid you receive 2nd stage letter? If yes, when you got it?
You got any court convictions? If yes, did you disclose it in your application?
You ever got social welfare payments? If yes, did you disclose it in your application?
Have you got all record of correspondences of any type to/from the department?
What was the basis of your application?
Excellent. Did you apply after the birth of your Irish kid? If yes, did you claim Irish Associations in your application by attaching a passport copy of your kid?SabrAyoub wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 8:18 am

No convictions
No social welfare - been in continuous employment with a very reputable company for 6.5 years now
Yes, emails are still stored
5 year non-eu. It’s worth noting I have an Irish kid and a mortgage (i.e. intent to stay is clear)

My plan: if I don’t receive a letter of approval this week, I will request a copy of my application under the FIA and based on that proceed with a court case (not sure how that works)
Thanks a lot!! I didn’t claim Irish association but I did list my kid (with their nationality written as Irish in the application) and did mention I have an Irish kid in my emails.amwaraich wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 8:28 amExcellent. Your case is straightforward. Even no complications in court proceedings.
You cannot send/receive PMs. So don't know how to contact you.
30 GENUINE posts. Any nonsense posts just to increase your count will be removed and the PM function permanently disabled.SabrAyoub wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 8:37 amThanks a lot!! Moderators: what is the minimum requirement for PMing? Is it the number of posts?
That’s understandable. I wasn’t sure what JR means, but I figured it means Judicial Review. Googling that got me some solicitors to contact. So I feel I might have enough info to go with. Thanks amwaraich!CR001 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 9:51 am30 GENUINE posts. Any nonsense posts just to increase your count will be removed and the PM function permanently disabled.
Members are reminded again that everyone on the forum is a complete stranger and we have many scammers and spammers who trawl and post here.
I would say MEDIA is the best Option, to show the public what is going on with some of the applicants without any reason, how to get the contact details of MEDIA?Statusquo73 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 12:53 amHi guys,
What I suggest is lets contact some of the journalist, reporters who covered Citizenship issue recently..
If at least 5-6 people email those people They will put on their newspaper.
Imagine a topic like " Citizenship applicants cannot leave Ireland for a year" made a huge noise. Now if we push and tell them our story ( even anonymously) It will be a great topic to cover for them.\
I bbelive we have 2 option, MEDIA or Judical Review.
Meanhile I write myself to journalists and ask them to put this topic on their newspaper.
However we we all together do it It will make a difference. I need your help on this guys....
Lets acts together.

Simply type in the name of the news paper or other media with the key word contact and it will come up on google for you e.g Irish Times contact etc. I have recently done it myself.

I know a solicitor who dont charge for judicial review if u win the case. He charge DOJ. Personally know about two cases where 2016,2017 applicants bring judicial review and they win it and solicitor charge his fee to DOJ. Dont have PM option otherwise I could send u his details.
