As per the recent replies, the expected timeline for stamp 1 & 4 is approx 4 weeks, while 1G & Stamp 2 is 1 week.

Stamp 4
Last question.. sorry.. Did you already have a stamp 4 that had to be renewed or were you moving stamps from stamp X to stamp 4? I only ask since I am moving to stamp 4 from a different stamp and I applied a while back and i'm yet to hear from them.. so i'm worried.

Thanks for your help :)

I submitted my online IRP renewal of Stamp 4 today.

After adding the card details on payment page and clicking on Proceed, the response on page just said "OK" and it did not redirect me back to the home page of the portal.

I, however, received the ISD Online Renewal - Acknowledgement email and the payment was also debited from my card.

Is there something to worry about that the payment success page did not redirect properly?

Thanks

Nothing to worry, the same happened to me,
your application went through as you've received the OREG number.

It can take up to 10-15 working days after approval, but in my case it always took around a week in dublin, you may try to email them and ask for the tracking number.
Can i ask how long the process took till the approval email? 🙏

Can anyone confirm if one can work while their new IRP is processing? Has EUFam4 permanent residency approved for 10 years, until 2031 just no current valid IRP card but have the OREG number etc. HR is being difficult about it at new job. Looks like it won’t be processed before start date…Thanks!

Yes, I'm aware of 10-15 working days, just asking if anyone received it sooner.

If your employee’s IRP card has expired and they are unable to obtain a valid registration card by 31 May 2022, they are still legally permitted to remain in the State provided they show proof that they have applied to renew their registration and are waiting for it to be processed. All renewals are
processed online and applicants are issued with a receipt of application and a unique application number (OREG number).

Thanks, problem is that he thought he did apply before that deadline but it was never acknowledged. Emailed and called a few times and no answer. He put in a new application online last week, which now was acknowledged, not approved yet and work starting next week.

I guess outside of extensions what’s the general rule, can one start work while irp is pending but has permission letter and the pending registration email?
