I have exactly same case as you Zoie. I received the form a month ago filled it up and sent it back to the department. I still haven’t received the email or even a confirmation email.

Oh, I see. You have a completely different experience than I had. In my case, it took one day (maybe 1.5 day) to receive a letter from INIS, fill and post the form, and receive the email from garda.

That's right I've got a single paper to sign out with my details and sent back to the department, since then its complete dark, I've sent on 26th April, I've sent them email of that paper in case if it got missed by post or something, but no reply so far.

Hello

How long does it take for the whole vetting to be completed, After filling up your details in the email you get from the Garda?

Anyone got an approval after that or is the journey still going

I've sent mine over 2 months ago no link from vetting bureau has provided, however I've talked to my solicitor she sent them another threatening letter to bring this matter before court. So lets see, it's just time delaying tactics I guess otherwise someone from us would have receive some positive news.

I have got email of threatening letter we have sent to the department earlier, they sent another form (as they said they didn't receive it) so I'm going to send it today.
Can I ask you guys did you submitted just form and copy of your ID to the department along with form and utility bill or did you guys sent original ID please reply as I have to submit it today. Also this email came from a person not a citizen team we normally see at the end of an email.

Brother, the department is requesting an upto date evetting form to be signed by applicant and they get from National vetting bureau. NVB then send applicant an email to authorize the vetting and after that they do the vetting and disclose it to the department.

Justice dept normally ask for evetting now when the application is due for submission or final stage before decision.
It is also not necessary for every application to be asked for evetting. You may get a decision without evetting. Hope for best brother 🤞
