I didn't have any penalty points when I applied for citizenship application early last year, I just got €80 fine this year just few months ago. I was nervous and told my solicitor to inform the citizenship and attached copy of my paid fine ticket, but my solicitor said no its unnecessary because it won't affect my application because Gardai only stopped me for unaccompanied and this is a minor issue and because I never had any issue with Gardai in the past.faraan2 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 6:05 pmWhen I submitted citizenship application I didn’t have any points I just got last year and on the vetting link there was no option to mention about penalty points they were only asking about any criminal offence or court hearing so far I am not involved in anything.
