Hi. Similar situation here submitted my e-vetting on the 8th of Feb but no confirmation email yet. Just saw the news that a ceremony’s will be held in Dublin at the 26th of February. You guys think we still have a shot to get the evetting, pay the fee, process the fee and get this ceremony?? Link below
https://www.irishimmigration.ie/upcomin ... -ceremony/
I too wish, but seriously doubt it. Depends on the number of applications tbh. June seems too optimistic. October I hope at least.

Lmao. Are you joking? Most probably December ceremony.
I wouldn't say December lol. May be June yes, but I have heard there is another ceremony scheduled in March.

Someone told me that the Assigned Team CMUB was slower than CMUA. When this guy got his e-vetting invitation last year, he was assigned to CMUB. He waited for 6 months and those he knew who already received e-vetting invitation the same time as him and were assigned to CMUA got their e-vetting link quicker. Though in the email it says that we don't need to re-submit the e-vetting form again if one has already submitted before, he resubmitted another e-vetting form using the Assigned Team CMUA. He said he resubmitted 5 times! He paid the citizenship fee already and is now waiting for the invitation to the oath-taking ceremony. However, he said that he still received some emails on the e-vetting link after getting the decision - must be because of the e-vetting forms he resubmitted 5 times before.

I don't think I'd be comfortable doing this though as I think it will just create backlogs to the teams working on the e-vetting. Not sure of the amount of work they do on the background but I just don't think it's a good idea. They must have done some process improvement now so I am hoping that e-vetting this year will be quicker. Anyway I won't advise this and I don't intend to give anyone an idea to do the same. Let me know your thoughts though.

My first e-vetting link was sent by CMUB indeed and it stayed there untouched until a duplicate e-vetting link sent by CMUA and everything moved since then.

Hi everyone, can someone help me out please??

I sent my application form in Jan 2022
I got an acknowledgment letter in July 2022 with ref number
I got e-vetting invite in August 2023
Completed e-vetting.... all good ...
In the next email I received it's saying that it has been completed and disclosure has been made...
NO FURTHER EMAILS / LETTERS since

All of my friends who applied after me, they have already got their certificates & have already gone to their ceremonies ....
I tried to see if I can get a lawyer can someone recommend one please? as the ones I asked don't want to get involved etc. I am staring to get paranoid, what if I got an email invite and binned it thinking it was a scam, just over thinking it at this point....the person that replies to the emails is absolutely useless as well such dry answers leaving me more confused, can they not let me know if my application is unsuccessful so I can reapply like I've been living here for 12 years like (my fault for applying so late but just need Irish citizenship if I want to get an :shock: WHV)....
:? :?

Hi all,
I’ve got the evetting invitation and submitted my form but I haven’t received any confirmation email. I read in another post they got the confirmation mail second time they filled the form due to a mistake.

Anyway my question is, do you normally receive a confirmation email after successfully submitting your evetting form?

Appreciate the help. Thanks!
Got mine today morning at 4.08 AM in the email inbox. It's going out in batches, maybe a cron job, my mother was friend got it yesterday.

My solicitor sent a litigation letter and in response to that they said they are awaiting final background checks on my application which made no sense to me as my e-vetting was done 6 months back and the disclosure was made straight away. The letter also stated that I should expect to get a decision in the next 12 weeks but i got the decision in 2 weeks. I applied in Feb 2022 and finally got approved and paid the fees.

Don't hesitate to contact the solicitor, you can't be waiting this long and others jumping the queue.

Just wondering are we allowed to share details as a private message instead of posting it on the forum?

I found a solicitor in Dublin who is familiar with citizenship cases, I read some of the reviews so hopefully I'll get sorted out that way...hopefully isn't going to cost me a fortune. Thanks for the replies is nice to have some opinions.

Hello everyone I hope you are all good ,I have some questions which is about evetting so I got some emails ,first email was ;
You will receive an email from the NVB in the coming weeks which will contain instructions on how to complete your E-Vetting submission.

Please complete your E-Vetting as quickly as possible to ensure your application is not delayed.

I completed it after I got second email;

This is your vetting application which you have consented to and submitted through Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS). The application tracking number is REDACTED

Vetting Checklist

Please ensure you have the following information readily available;
List of names that you are also known as i.e. maiden name, married name, name change on divorce/separation, name change by deed poll, nickname or name you are commonly known as other than the name on your birth certificate.
Previous addresses since birth.
Passport Number (where applicable).
The following information is required in relation to a criminal record, court date, court name, offence and court outcome.
This application will expire in 30 days or on 15/03/2024.

I completed this too but it just saved ,not submit and I didn't receive any email afterwards. My question is, do I need to receive any email? Is there anyone in my situation?

Thank you

You did this on Garda website, right? Not ISD?

I've done this a year ago and got an email once I filled it out and sent it.

That's a great sign that they are processing e-vetting applications really fast this year. Hopefully I got the invite soon

dont get your hopes up, lets see, even i was surprised to see his timeline, that's really fast, but we dont know if its an outlier or not. i assume those who got back acknowledgement for isd vetting invitation right after submission has already got the garda vetting link.
