Employment Laws

Post by griffith » Tue Apr 23, 2019 11:47 pm

Guys just a quick question.

Is Carta d’identità (Italian permanent residence card) sufficient to secure employment in Ireland ?? given that the holder of such residence card is a Non-EU citizen.
Please provide references if applicable.
Thankyou

Jack

I don’t understand your question. A residence permit from Italy allows you to live in Italy. It doesn’t give you any right to travel to Ireland, leaving alone working here.
As a non EU citizen, you can work in Ireland if you can find a job, obtain a work permit and possibly apply for an entry visa before you travel to Ireland, or if you have an EU spouse who will move to Ireland with you.
