HI if you divorced ,

you supposed to apply for retention first before EU 3 i think ! you wont get a response for EU3 until you get EU5 . In your Stamp and everything is expiring at the same time with divorce + retention i have never seen this before TBH. (should have applied for all this in april but any let's know how it goes)

Normally they have to provide temporary extension while you for any stamp application even retention so that you can keep working.

Citizenship is ok as long as there's no break in residence stamps (I hope you put on your application that you are divorced)

Your timing are unprecented truly but they have to process retention first (unless they make an exception)

I applied for PR i got extension until April 2018! which is very longtemp

but expecting decision by january 2018 deadlines . Easy cases get easy response but we don;t know what is easy for them .

Most people don;t share PR application here

f.a.o grace

INIS clearly states on their website that you can not apply for EU3 until your retention is approved!
Also how did you got divorce in Ireland as you required a 4 year separation period and you can’t get a divorce outside Ireland if your wife is living in Ireland currently as this is her place of residence.
And if you did get divorce in Ireland that means you got married in 2010 and you separated in 2011?

citizenship office will not process your application to second stage until they get the green light from INIS as you can see they state clearly on the citi application that reports will be requested from relevant depts.

Mal

we divorced after nearly 5 years in lithuania . there judgemnt 2016 feb eu spouse has to be in estate initiative of divorce and until decree guranted as for as in my knowledge.divorce is only possible in eu country as for as one of the person holding birth certificate.

i am focusing on PR or tep visa , citizenship app will be second option.
my ex spouse is in estate of all time working as requirment of relevent dept.

Don't worry bro your case is straight forward. the only thing is first you will get your retention response and after that you will will PR..

I was researching ROR for last couple of months I'm also planning to apply soon, just making sure I cover all the ticks. would be great if you tell from where you divorced Ireland Or European country?

you will what get what you want but with little delay.. as first you will get Retention Response and then PR.. important thing in ROR is that your wife should be here in Ireland and doing some activity, I also heard sometime they check her country activities as well means is paying tax there? any Social etc etc..

my opinion is to withdraw your PR and keep your retention application in place for following reasons

1) permanent residence is for people who fulfil the criteria of living with the eu spouse who is excercising their eu treaty rights for a continues period of 5 years your divorce make your application invalid for PR

2) on the eu3 form you should have filled the part that you are applying following retention however you have applied through your spouse whom your divorce

link the dots budy

Mall Thank you for your concern ,

i would wait for there response first instead of withdraw EU3,

one of my friend had same things they contact him he need to withdraw one application ,
but my friend have no cover letter also he had 15 months visa after divorced ,

so i have limitted time 4 months
