FBR-thru Irish Grandfather

Post by Squinch » Tue Jul 24, 2007 4:11 pm

Hi-
I applied for Irish citizenship FBR through my Irish grandfather. Appliaction and paperwork were submitted to the Irish Embassy in Washington, DC. Anyone else doing this? Any idea on how long the process takes? I know it is a 2 step process 1) to be approved and entered into the FBR and 2) use that certification to apply for the Irish passport. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

It took about 2 - 3 months in the UK.
