Those it say on everyone's approval letter to send 950euro and GNIB within 10 if they want to be considered in the next ceremony? I'm just thinking if this is their general template or to those they really want to attend next ceremony.
I think it's their general template as they said the same to me last year before 26th November 2018 ceremony to submit fees with in 10 days but they never invited me to ceremony.
Hi,
It will be unfair if they don't include me in the 29 of April ceremony. I have been waiting for 3 years and a half for the approval for no valid reason.

I am sure you will be included, they prioritize older applications when filling up ceremonies. They should start sending invititation by end of March/early April.

Congrats. Did they send this email replying to any question of yours?

I was approved on Aug/2018 with the same message ("if paid with 10 days...") but was not invited to the following ceremony.

Yes mate I emailed them last week regarding when I will be invited to attend ceremony and told them that these dates have been mentioned on your website to which they replied that I will be invited to the ceremony on 29th April

Hi All,
Could you please tell me if anyone has received an invitation letter for the 29 of April Ceremony? If not, when it should be expected to receive the invitation?
Thanks

They are sent 3-4 weeks before the ceremony. So the earliest time you can expect to receive this is 1st April.

I tried to call them today to ask about the status for a friend - called 600 times and could not get through.

I rang today to check if they received my documents and bank draft. They still havent updated the system yet, still coming up as “pending fee payment”. He said invitations will be sent at the end of the month...

Got through after 695 calls between Tuesday and today.

Was checking for the application status for a friend who is a British national and living here since 25 years ago. He submitted the application 2 days later than I did. His application is still in the first stage.

I also asked about whether there is still a chance for me to catch the April ceremony now that my application is with the minister. The woman replies to me she doesn’t have the faintest clue.

I am planning to raise a parliamentary question through a TD after my application is approved to ask about how their system works and why there is no transparency at all.

No it's not approved yet. They told me today over the phone that my application is with the minister. I then specifically asked again whether it is being prepared for submission or it has already been submitted, the girl then replied that it has been submitted.

Yes, I rang to confirm they receievd the documentation and your man said that he could not confirm. Since INIS has a rep of losing stuff (they never got one registered letter I sent when I changed jobs) I emailed them for confirmation and only got an answer today. I wasnt expecting to be honest as they ignored the first email... but do send it after they have received your fee just to double check if they really got it.

Thanks I sent the fee yesterday and see it got delivered this morning and signed for. I’ll give them a few days and check in - hoping I get invited to April’s!
