Great 'Migrants-Rights' booklet for Ireland

Post by marialear » Fri Aug 18, 2006 12:50 pm

Good afternoon everyone,

Just searching around on the net on my lunch break & found a great website www.mrci.ie The Migrants Rights Centre based in Dublin.

They've a lot of information available & found a gem of a document called 'Know Your Rights' which is a 70-page pdf file about all things related to immigrating to Ireland in plain english! No long-winded legislative jargon, just the facts. If you go to the Home page, click on the left icon for Publications and it's the 1st option that comes up. It has a bright green cover.

Talks about your rights as a non-EU person living/working in Ireland with respect to employment, tax, social welfare, immigration, legal affairs & gives further contact info at the end. Definately worth a look!!
