Wow, congratulations to all who recently got their approval letter. Am still waiting on mine. Applied end of November 2019. They tell me "it's still in the queue storyline and they would make a decision once they get to mine" but obviously they are not dealing with applications in a chronological order as they claim

they took 15 months to give you approval. That means I have to wait for that long as well

@shade 90 yes you need visa to travel in Europe as it's probably stated in your letter and even if not clarified normally all stamp 4 holders based on IBC require visa for EU travel.

Hi guys. I recieved a letter from the justice saying that i need a sworn affidavit from my partner. What does that mean? Does my partner need to write it or type it in the computer? Do we need a solicitor for this?

@heinzketchup just a letter from your partner outlining your relationship with them and child and role you play in childs life emotional and financial since their birth and get it stamped and signed by any oath commissioner / most solicitors will do it for a tenner . And that's that hope it helps .

Hi Goblin, thanks for this I’m hoping to apply next year. Please what is your current status and what documents did you use in applying because I intend to just book an appointment in my local immigration to seek for an upgrade directly . Thanks

Did you not ask them at burgh quay how to go about registering online or the direct website ?

They said I should just use the new online registration but my letter says come in as a first timer with my Irish child...so that's the confusion

To my best knowledge and personal experience

If this is your first registration then you need to make appointment and attend office۔

But I you hold previously any stamp or you registered your self in Garda Station

then you need to submited online with all supporting documents.
