Irish Naturalization - Traffic Offences

Post by js2403 » Wed Mar 11, 2020 1:46 pm

Hello

I am due to apply for my Irish citizenship next week. The first time I applied (5 years ago) I was refused as I did not include my traffic fines (I did not consider traffic fines to be criminal offences, the wording has since changed in the application which makes this clearer).

I have all the traffic fine information and proof of payment to include in the applications this time.

1. Has anyone any advise on additional information I should include which would be useful, to accompany my application and address the refusal of the first application?

2. Has anyone ever been in this situation before and after second application they were granted citizenship?

Thanks so much
