letter of invitation

can you people have a look over this letter and tell me your opinion please? Can I use this as an invitation letter? Any additions or changes I should make?

To whom it may concern

I, XXXXX , born on the xxxxxxx in xxxxx, xxxx, wish to invite my friend xxxxxx to visit me in Ireland between xxxxx until xxxxxxx.
I am holder of a german EU passport and have been living and working in Ireland since April 2008. I have been working for my current employer, xxxxx, since February 2009.
xxx and me have been good friends for nearly 1 year and in June 2010 I was able to visit him and his family in their home in Nablus where they showed me great hospitality and gave me a chance to get to know their city well (please see pictures and documentation attached).
At the same time XX and me started to have an interest in each other and I wish to show him the country where I live and let him have an insight into our european culture. It will help us very much to understand each other’s background better and to take well based decisions in the future regarding where our friendship will go.
For the whole duration of his visit to Ireland he will be staying with me at my home at the following address: xxxxxx (Please see attached bank statement as a proof of address)
I am also going to sponsor him as my dependant for the entire period of his stay. I will bear all responsibilities including, but not limited to, financial responsibilities, travel expenses within Ireland, medical insurance, housing and food. I will personally make sure that he leaves Ireland before the expiration of his authorized stay and that we will observe all conditions of the visa. I will also personally make sure that he will not become a public charge on the part of the irish government.
So I respectfully request you to grant my friend a visitors’ visa.

Your friend should also demonstrate that s/he has strong ties to his country of origin and that s/he has definite reason to return there at the end of his / her holiday. This will be the main concern of the DoJ.

he will get his employer to write him a letter on headed paper confirming he's been employed there for 2 years and will state the time of annual leave he will give him (dates) etc.
My friend is also going to write a statement that he is going to stick to all the visa conditions and will leave the country before his visa expires
